Marischa B (es) wrote: Thoroughly enjoyed the film. The chemistry between Freddie and Claire was great. Would recommend this to anyone who loved 'When Harry met Sally'. Jason Biggs is great as the best friend showing more character than in the American Pie films. If you like Claire Forlani then you must watch 'Meet Joe Black'!!

Raji K (br) wrote: Danny Devito plays a man who is the host of a kid comedy kid show as his job, and is a father to two sons at home. Although he always good intentions and you can tell he is as good man, his temper leads to the most tragic events that take the most toll on his oldest son Jack. The story is portrayed from the point of view of Jack who views his father as drastic as a funny clown to a dangerous monster. Jack the Bear is a powerful family film that shows how quickly life can change from being on the top of the world, to the dark abysses of fear and hatred all due to the factthere are so many external events in life that you cannot control.

Andrew C (it) wrote: A very interesting animated movie. It shows the viewpoints of an elderly couple who survived The Blitz during World War II and tried to compensate on what's going on at the time of the 1980s when a nuclear war was about to strike. The animation is quite fantastic, but the overall movie was a bit mind numbing. I was a bit bored during it, but the ending is quite sad. I don't think this is a great movie, but it is a good enough look at the time when people are afraid of nuclear war when movies about it were in the hey day.

I have been wanting to see this film and finally watched it recently and loved it. The movie centers on a wealthy and very high scoiety lady (Bacall) and a very man's man (Peck). Both fall in love and marry quickly after meeting. Soon thereafter they find out through funny situations that they are very different but have one major thing in common the love for one another, can it rule all?

Robin N (it) wrote: This movie was widely panned by critics, however I've always enjoyed because of it's efficient collaboration of genres. It's fun, smart and empowers Julia Roberts as a strong female character.

Grayson W (au) wrote: Intriguing relationship sexual tensions and an expose of the underbelly of high society. A really good Christmas film that constantly feels like the season with cold weather and Christmas lights in nearly every shot. I love the Christmas time in New York atmosphere from the New York streets and shops, to cafes, to cramped humble apartments to the lavish lifestyles (although not actually filmed in NYC). The film is also better when you are aware of the ritualistic history of American society and know that there are secret parties among the most powerful.
