Michael H (mx) wrote: Interesting. Amusing for a while. Rather perplexing. Some engrossing segments. Ultimately not very satisfying. A director to keep an eye on, though.

Gaurav S (br) wrote: Lootera is beatiful & poetic. The only problem was that there was not much happening in the last 1 hour. Visually, it's charming, but somewhere, with its leisurely pace, it lost the flow. Will go for another watch to let it sink in better. The cinematogapher deserves an award for this, reminded me of Ray's era. The background score is spot on, Amit Trivedi, you beauty. Sonakshi Sinha & Ranveer Singh were genuinely impressive. The first half is just brilliant. Motwane indulged himself too much in Darjeeling and lost the flow somewhere in the mountains. But Motwane is here to stay, he is an instant genius.

Walter M (es) wrote: [font=Century Gothic]"In the Pit" is an insightful documentary about the building of the second deck of the Pereferico Freeway in Mexico City, focusing on men(and one woman) who worked on the immense project.(It should be noted that there is a sort of hyper-masculinity infecting the workers. One even spent his time spying on passing female motorists.) Through this, there forms an incisive portrait of the class system of Mexico. To start, the construction crews were mostly from the lower and working classes who risked their lives working below, on(while dodging traffic) and above the ground. Building another deck was a particularly bourgeois solution to the traffic woes as most people who own a car are at least of the middle class. By comparison, the workers take buses to and from the site. I do not think the second deck will even alleviate traffic in the long run, as it will just lead to more cars taking to the roads.(For more information, read "The Power Broker" by Robert Caro.) and therefore to more pollution. Calvin R (mx) wrote: The amazing spider-man was great. It had a great cast with great performance, it was thrilling. The script was excellent, it had dazzling visuals, and a solid story despite revisiting 2002's Spiderman. All and all , great reboot.

Ilsa W (es) wrote: Some hilarious, cringeworthy moments as you'd expect and even when it's not laugh out loud funny it's still an enjoyable watch. Much better than the first Inbetweeners movie, i'd be quite happy if they made another one!
