Freeman B (ag) wrote: A bizarre look at the effects of grief and how close it can take us to madness. Very good acting, some parts will make you hold your breath or cover your eyes.

Drago C (us) wrote: Street kings in not that good a movie but it has a certain je-ne-sais-quoi that keeps you glued despite some cringeworthy bits. That and two great performances, from a gruff Keanu and an exuberant Forest Whittaker make this movie well worth watching. Hugh Laurie, Jay Mohr, Terry Crews and Captain America round up a solid cast and the serviceable direction by Ayer offsets a boring, predictable script. In any case, after a re-watch several years later, i'll go with a recommendation on this one.

Shawn W (au) wrote: A must see for all Shannon Whirry fans. Whirry is a kidnapped supermodel kept isolated in a locked room and watched on video by her abductor. Investigators take a laughable 18 days to look into limo rentals, a pretty obvious place to start.

Sanchayan S (fr) wrote: Ron Howard's take on "Willow" is ultimately a bland one filled with repetitive plot points bearing striking resemblance with Star Wars and some ordinary dialogues backed by hollow performances. Now overall the film is a good one with a rich sense of fantasy , good production values using more of environments for shots and also a nice sense of visual effects. Warwick Davis as "Willow Ufgood" was a good side to the entire story. But for all the good values , a good journey requires a good story and the story was unfortunately not deep enough and at the same time not original enough. Lucas' story elements have reached a saturation it seems . With a shallow story , the film also suffers a bad screenplay with poor dialogues and a slow pace that makes many of the scenes a bore. The dynamics of the stories are flawed in many occasions. The climatic sequences are really not upto any mark and for all the buildup it was an utter disappointment. Directing qualities however weren't that bad as the film looks rich and feels rich even with the bland scenes. On top of such negatives the performances from the cast were ordinary and fails to deliver a proper heart to the story. As a fantasy lover one can forgive some of the elements and still get an ordinary film and for a movie goer this movie fails to deliver a good tale. Never the less , this is a nicely cinematographed journey that calls for a watch at least once
