Finest, the brave Falcon

This fairy tale film is dedicated to the memory of the great film director Alexander Row, the founder of the genre. Once upon a time there lived a brave and kind hero named Finist the Bright Falcon. He was famous for his strength, courage and a heart of gold. But one day the Russian land was attacked by an evil enemy, Kartaus, who turned our hero into a forest monster. This spell was cast on a condition that Finist might become a man again, should a beautiful girl, Alyonushka, fall in love with him while he was a beast. . Jordan P (gb) wrote: The Babadook relies on violent images and human drama rather than excessive violence and gore, delivering an uncomfortably detailed look into the depths of motherhood, depression, loss and isolation -- and the result is as deeply heartfelt and moving as it is jaw-dropping.

Vladdy Trout (mx) wrote: First saw this movie when I was a kid. Even at that young age I knew this was a great movie and Powers Boothe is a great actor. Must be viewed by everyone. Awesome and scary movie.

Jeff B (ag) wrote: Rod Steiger is amazing in this film directed by Sidney Lumet about a concentration camp survivor who works as a Pawnbroker in New York. While I could have done without parts of the storyline, such as the entire Jesus and Rodriguez storyline, Steiger is the real reason to see this film (it's crazy that just two years later he stars in In the Heat of the Night). The other actors were good, I just wish it had a better script.
