(us) wrote: Tom Hanks treads familiar territory in a story of survival in the eyes of savage barbarism and a treacherous plain to deliver a fantastic adaptation of 2009 hijacking of a US cargo vessel carrying food and water through the somali basin. The cast all deliver their performances with such high-octane precision that the story flows in a fluid and massively intense perimeter. Barkhad Abdi also delivers a brilliant debut performance as Muse, "the other Captain" and manages to capture the spotlight even when he isn't saying anything. Captain Phillips is an amazing story of survival and definitely worth a watch.

Business and most sacraficed home life or choose Work as the life to live up! Diane Keaton beat the odd, managing to balance her adoptive child while selling homemade Apple sauce beating her competitive sellers. When her old Job came crawling back trying to out buy her, she snubbed them. Prier her ex-boss noted you "can't have it all!"-she beat the odds with hard determination.

Finally released in its fully uncut form, this is simultaniously a damning indictment of religious opression and yet a tale of divine redemption; an account of rampant sexuality but also of sacred union. Ken Russell pushes the limits in every regard (resulting in 40 years of censorship) and the outcome is a strikingly political and religious film that maintains a focus on humanity while relishing in one of history's most inhuman moments. Unflinching in its content yet poetic in its vision, this attains an artistic level that something like The Passion of the Christ can only pray for. Jean-Luc Godard once descibed Bresson's 'Au Hasard Balthazar' as "the entire world in 90 minutes", I would say Ken Russell's shocking masterpiece perhaps closer fits that label. 10/10
(es) wrote: low budget, less professional performance version of the panic room. however, with all of this, the cast managed to cover all corners within the plot. not a bad picture for an amateur.
