Joey B (us) wrote: With a little bit more exposition into the lives of Elliot and his family, this movie could have been pretty good. Pretty entertaining and messed up, up until the end anyway. Sorta fell off during the climax. Still not a bad use of an hour and a half. 6.5/10

Silvestre S (ru) wrote: Final Destination 5 is a great step up to the franchise. Why it does have creative but yet cliched-well-worn kills it does bring more thrills into the series more suspense more blood and grizzly messes these leave.Final Destination 5 is modern day thriller unique to the genre promising more than just enough of the formula to make the series be a more refreshing and less recycled looking and orthodox films that only keep being made for a good paycheck

Jackie S (us) wrote: a very well made look behind the people who started the label. marketing the criminal aspect really seemed to contribute to its downfall. some great talent came out at least - loved the interviews and backstory. a shame to see the way greed corrupted those who controlled it all...

Thomas B (es) wrote: Grade - B-It's a very well made, certainly tense and occasionally frightening movie that succeeds as a sci-fi horror. However, there are some ridiculous decisions made by the crew that I can't just ignore. Ultimately, if you like this kind of thing, you'll like Alien. For me personally, some of the scenes intended to be tense I simply found boring.

Nicole S (nl) wrote: A great performance by Jack Lemmon. Some really interesting attempts to explore the ennui of the time. A little dated (i found the flashback visuals to be cartoonish today) but also a great time-capsule to a particular type of disenchantment with America. Worth revisiting now. Still potent themes.

Matt M (ag) wrote: Russ Meyer, renowned for his provocative films, disappoints with this bland and lifeless adult soap opera.

Santiago C (ag) wrote: suspenseful and a great stephen king adaptation but truly aint so interesting and sometime anti-climatic but a true scary movie

Tyler S (gb) wrote: Superb performance from Jeff Bridges make this a pretty good thriller. His new neighbor played eerily by Tim Robbins, is very strange and odd. Bridges believes he might be a terrorist as he committed an act of violence at the age of 16. What goes back and forth is some pretty good stuff set up by an excellent twist at the end that definitely boosted this rating. It seems to go by the book and all what you suspected was correct and then a curve ball is thrown. The plot isn't fully complete but the ending and Bridges performance makes up for it.
