Vincent S (br) wrote: Wanted to like it since I love the Harry Potter books and movies but I seriously could not even finish watching it. Most likely didn't even get half way. I HATED Tina and her character just kept pulling me out of the movie. Queenie is awesome and so is Jacob and Newt, but I just wanted to see some beast chew on Tina, not sure why she is so annoying to me. Anyways, since I couldn't even finish the movie I only give it half a star.

Cory A (de) wrote: I came across this film on many lists of 'shocking' and 'most disturbing' horror movies, but I've seen better serial killer movies with less blood. Plus, it was a bit artsy-fartsy, and the acting is just awful for the kind of movie it's trying to be. It was mildly entertaining.

Nikki B (es) wrote: The acting in this movie is amazing. that voice gives me chills, and I can't imagine getting calls like that! It said in Doris's autobiography that she got so worked up by the scene of her freaking out on the staircase that she actually passed out when the director called "cut"
Cristbal S (au) wrote: It started solid and kept that way until the outcome, but its silly twist and strange morals wasn't as emotional as other teen films of the same substance. Even though it has some moving moments, they just aren't as great as they should be.

I know all of you people are gonna say, you all going to say that Steven Seagal is crap cause I know I've heard my dad said it. But for me, I'm a big Steven Seagal fan. This film is good, very underrated. It might be worth a watch.
Andy P (us) wrote: This was almost a good movie. The most original Found Footage idea I've seen apart from Paranormal Activity but it just never quite gets there. The acting is good and the cast works so well together, I wouldn't be surprised if they are actually good friends in real life. Nothing feels like a performance until the 3rd act when the "scares" are supposed to be real and not just Fun housey... The movie seems to end abruptly without any real definitive ending. No Who What When Where or why, and it leaves you wholly unsatisfied for a film that could have been much more. They seem to be focused on the female in this film as if to set her up as a lead, however her skills are lackluster and in the closing seen you can't tell if she's terrified or just constipated. Good try.
