(gb) wrote: Feels like some rich kid wannabe director with no talent paid a couple of famous actors lots of money to act in his home movie. Amateur on every level - awful script, poorly edited, just crap.

(nl) wrote: It's that kind of story that I usually like, but the movie was not so good in the end.
(nl) wrote: bit touching at the end of the movie ...I thought it's a horror movie at the beginning
(us) wrote: A watchable adventure film about growing up, leadership, survival & brotherhood. White Squall has some very stirring material. Jeff Bridges is superb as usual.

(es) wrote: The sentiment is noble and there are big ideas in this film, but it's hard to say that it aged well. Now, Voyager didn't portray the way people went about life and love then and it certainly doesn't do it now. Love Affair (i.e.), done a few years early, is a better melodrama. Still, Rapper's work is often intriguing and Davis and Henreid's relationship is undoubtedly to die for.

(br) wrote: Jay Baruchel is hilarious as Kirk, the most unlucky, downtrodden and unlucky in love guy ever to hit the screens. That is until he meets Molly, played by the hugely talented Alice Eve, his dream girl who he starts dating. Completely bewildered that a girl of this beauty wants to be with him, Kirk sets out to convince Molly that he is the right guy for her, even though he doubts himself persistently. She's Out of My League does fall a victim to the usual rom-com cliches right at the last minute but I was still smiling and laugh loudly by the end, this is a very funny and hugely awkward comedy that puts it's eclectic bunch of characters in cringe situations, some that are too funny to give away so it's worth watching. As well as two exceptional leads who are undoubtedly the sweetest on-screen couple in years, T.J. Miller, Mike Vogel and Nate Torrence are priceless as Kirk's advice-dishing best mates who sometimes hold him back but always try to push him forward, and Krysten Ritter is one of the funniest foulmouth characters in years alongside a scene stealing Lindsey Sloane who reveals her playful and naughty side.

(ru) wrote: This is trash. Horrible acting, cinematography and script. It seems like they had an agenda other than entertainment. Rewriting history and making our military look like juvenile delinquents is not only false, its also a waste of time.
