Jayant S (ca) wrote: Weirdly funny! Cute little true story of an Englishman who hitch-hikes through Ireland with a freakin' fridge! Only the English can come up with stuff like this.Oh and the soundtrack is bloody awesome!

Paola C (es) wrote: Even though the end was heartbreaking i thought the movie was great

Ana X (mx) wrote: I would describe it as slow, boring, with annoying characters and lacking depth one would expect watching a movie about sibling rivalry.

bill s (it) wrote: Fine, fun story that pushes the limits then sells out at the end...still worth watching.

Haotian X (ru) wrote: Mesmerizing and absolutely stunning- each frame demands so much attention you feel like you missed out half the film when you are done. Which demands rewatching.

David J (fr) wrote: total crap. i have very seldom seen a movie where so little happens.....i think i would've even been bored had i had the MST#K crew helping out in this one.

Mark N (es) wrote: Harryhausen monsters and 50's sci-fi nonsense science. Brilliant stuff with long monster sequences and some inventive movie making. Not as iconic as Harryhausen's later works but a fine example of what you can good with passion and a crazy story.

Matt H (es) wrote: The last thing I ever expected from Bergman was a romantic/screwball comedy. I don't think it's that great of one, but it's a solid and unexpected addition to his career. Fun if not very funny comedy.

Alec B (it) wrote: The plot is sometimes silly, but still effective and Wyman's performance has just the right amount of quiet melancholy . . . but the best reason to see the film is for it's visuals. Even if you aren't paying attention to the dialogue, the imagery will command your attention. Sirk seems to be telling a parallel story through the brightly colored cinematography (which always seems to hint at the character's hidden passions) and various items the characters own or exchange with one another. None of this is exactly subtle, although most people seemed to miss it in the 50s, but that's not the point. These touches make what could have been a second rate melodrama into a beautiful film.

Karsh D (ru) wrote: Classic Murphy comedy with one of the most iconic signature tunes. Murphy swaps Detroit for Beverly Hills in search of those who murdered his friend.

Ed F (gb) wrote: One of the best deep thinking mystery movie I've seen. I wish it would come too dvd.
