(fr) wrote: You should see it because it has catchy story line. I felt the movie story line is very different from book's story line. Story is stream lined, crisp and catches the attention of viewer by its lovely songs and connectivity of its characters..

(ru) wrote: It's an audacious musical, and I can understand why some people, especially the fans of the Beatles, absolutely adore this trippy, colorful mess of a film. It has some entertaining moments (the Strawberry Fields Forever sequence is hauntingly effective), the cast is quite appealing (Sturgess being the best of the bunch) and I commend director Julie Taymor for her immensely creative vision. However, the central story is cliched and as a hardcore fan of the Beatles, I will never forgive the way it butchered some of the songs. Across the Universe is admirable, but not a great film.
(ca) wrote: Not a terribly good movie but the fight scenes are so good that it brings the movie to at least a little fresh. It is worth watching for the fight scenes but not much else.

(it) wrote: Book of Eli is a story that will leave you wanting to go back and watch again. Denzel and Gary Oldman together in this post apocalyptic word where people resort to violence and canablism to live each day. A world where religion is used as weapon and the finest perception of the human condition. A real work of art.
