Tatsuhito K (br) wrote: An audacious but ultimately uneven religious satire. It lost me a couple times and sometimes Smith's trademark humor didn't quite mash together with the central themes of the film, but I think the performances are really good (especially Damon and Affleck), and it did make me laugh more than a few times. Dogma is not one of Smith's best work, but it still is a fun movie to watch.

Kamal J (kr) wrote: the acting may not be all there but the fight scenes in this movie are the best fight scenes i have ever seen.

Josh E (ca) wrote: An interestingly directed movie that goes through a timeline of highs and lows of a married couple. A different very role for audrey then id previously seen from her.

Kevin R (ca) wrote: I am absolutely confident that nothing can go wrong An alien war leads to an entire race of alien women being wiped out. The aliens decide to head to Earth which is stockpiled with females they can mate with. On their way to Earth they encounter an American spaceship manned by an android. They shoot down the spacecraft causing irepidible damage to the android. The spacecrafts, aliens, and android all land on Earth. The android may be the Earth's only chance to overcome the alien invasion. "We have won the war but we have no women." Robert Gaffney delivers Frankenstein and the Space Monster in his lone directorial effort. The storyline for this picture is a bit ridiculous and classic science fiction for the era. The action sequences are average but the makeup is fantastic and the soundtrack is outstanding. The acting is mediocre and the cast includes James Karen, Marilyn Hanold, and Lou Cutell. "He's a robot not a man." I was searching cable for a monster movie and came across this science fiction classic on Turner Classic Movies (TCM) and decided to DVR it. Well, this could have been better. There was an obvious limited budget, premise and storyline; however, the makeup and costumes were very good. I'm not sure I could ever get past the scooter that kept appearing throughout this picture though; and also, I'm not sure why Frankenstein is in the title when that character was an android named Frank. "We have no more time for failures." Grade: C

Casey Adams is terrible as is Joseph Cotten. Still tho its a good enough watch and looks good. I didnt think it was worthy of the high ratings it has on here but I had a deaf person in the corner of my TV screen signing and mouthing the whole fucking movie out so she may have tainted my rating somewhat.

Chad B (au) wrote: this movie was overlooked. I'm sure all the critics will say it was cliche and trite and whatever other silly words they use, but I found this to be highly enjoyable. it was a great role Sean William Scott. it was very relateable to me, and I am sure you can find some part of yourself in the film.

Allan C (fr) wrote: Roger Corman's final Edgar Allan Poe film, adapted here by the great Robert Towne. Vincent Price plays a man obsessed with his dead wife and is convinced she is not dead, even after he remarries. It's not a campy Poe film, like "The Raven," but a more serious one like "Fall of the House of Usher." Good stuff if this type of film is your cup of tea.
