(jp) wrote: You can't entirely blame the film, but at the same time you can. The story is pretty much retarded, but the climatic bloody aftermath kept my gory expectations rather satisfied. Worth watching moments here and there overshadowed by a woeful film that, with a different editing and the use of another soundtrack, could have been a comedy splatter! Talent wasted. 25/100
(ru) wrote: an average action movie with a superficial plot. Jean Reno as a cool cop rescues the lame plot but dont make this movie a really good one

(fr) wrote: I liked this a lot more than I liked Shaft's Big Score. In part that might have been because I thoroughly enjoy the Four Top's theme song "Are You Man Enough?" from the score. A score and a song that fits in perfectly the blaxploitation films that came before it. The film itself is unique in the sense that it doesnt primarily because it doesn't take place in the streets and instead as the title suggests in Africa. The landscape works. I liked it. I really did.
