I created this account for the sole purpose of rating this documentary 5 stars. The insights are incredible. The information being gathered and publicized is necessary and, in my opinion, should be heard by ever single person on the face of the earth that has ever used any piece of modern technology. If you've ever used a phone (landline or cellphone [smartphone, flip phone, or an 80's brick phone), a computer (your personal computer or laptop, one at work or even at the library), a TV with any provider, etc., you absolutely much see this film. I have created accounts and will post this review on IMDB, Metacritic, and Rotten Tomatoes.

Unlike most Hong Kong martial arts films, this Japanese production is less focused on fast paced fight choreography, this film is focused on savage fight scenes that are just absolutely brutal. When this film was originally released in the US it was given an X-Rating for it's violence. By today's standards, the film would probably only earn a solid R-Rating, but even then, this film is shockingly violent and that's a key element that makes this film so memorable. Sonny Chiba plays Terry Tsurugi a mercenary who's developed his own special martial arts technique. Terry is hired to kidnap the daughter of a billionaire and things start to go south from there. Now there are plenty of violent and gory martial arts films, but not many of them seem as savage or brutal as this one. Although the fight are pretty wild, it's really Chiba who gets the major credit for this film being such a classic. A must see for marital arts action film fans!

So good.
Nicolas L (es) wrote: I'm pretty sure the genesis of this movie was the stock footage that makes up half this film. Somebody said, we've got this jungle footage, why not make a movie out of it? And aside from the novelty of "strong" female lead in the film, it really isn't that much different from other genre films of the time.
