Barney o (jp) wrote: WHAT I LIKED: This is one of those movies where you sit there super-engaged and on the edge of your seat, then you take a moment out and look at yourself. What the heck am I watching? Well, you're actually watching a really great movie unfold, where the action and character-dynamics dwarf many true spy-action thrillers, whilst the sheer hilarity of every situation seems to mock those competitors all at the same time. It's hilarious, but much like Feig's Bridesmaids, it's also a really great story, and that's what engages you in the fist place.WHAT I DIDNT LIKE: 'Spy' may have just done all that great stuff a teeny bit better...VERDICT: This movie is hilarious, but like all of Feig and McCarthy's great work, it's got real story too.

Rowan C (br) wrote: This fictional controversial paranormal investigation show about a haunted house investigation. Aired in 1992 on BBC One and appeared on television to seem 'live'. I can tell that Most Haunted Live took serious inspiration from this show with its format and contents. With Sir Michael Parkinson as the presenter along with a team of ghost investigators and experts gives the show a very realistic feel. The acting is good at most parts but the child actors in the show were bad, but probably when viewers were watching it on television they wouldn't have thought about it because of the shows 'live' feel and presentation. With interesting mythology and for its time a very original concept (nowadays people wouldn't believe it as much, because of shows such as Most Haunted and films like Paranormal Activity) makes "Ghostwatch" an entertaining horror show with a nicely paced set of scary scenes, and in some ways scarier or on par with horror films, such as The Blair Witch Project, The Exorcist and The Shining.

Gordon T (it) wrote: funny comedy. Made me laugh even when my dad died. Larry "Bud" Melman totally wrecks Roony's Car on the Draw-Bridge . . . soooo FUNNY!!!!!!! Hilarious I love James Horner's music THE BEST! and there's a resident poignancy under-girding the humor.

Andy P (br) wrote: Efter Repetitionen is a haunting film ridden with guilt, Bergman's guilt; of many lives, including his own, sacrificed for the sake of his art. It's a worthy low key conclusion to the main film making period of one of cinema's greats, a mea culpa of sorts.

Daniel E (it) wrote: Peter Boyle is immense as the angry racist homophobic hippie hater. He makes Alf Garnett look like a liberal wimp.

John D (ca) wrote: The great chemistry between the two leads is about the only thing going for this movie, unless you count the surprisingly risque outfits and innuendos. The storyline is choppy and barely holds together, and I sure could've used some music to fill in some of the empty spaces.

Mike B (de) wrote: Why was this made? It can't touch the original, and covers the same old ground without justifying its existence. It is there, that's about it. Watch the original for a very different experience.

David E (au) wrote: A horrendous film. About the best that can be said about it is that the actors gave okay performances given what they were working with. The script is terrible, filled with clunky dialogue and zero character development. The direction is just as bad, poorly paced, poorly cut, lacking in any momentum, and switching between a hodgepodge of shooting styles for no apparent reason. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to waste their time viewing this film.
