Kate H (jp) wrote: That was fantastic. Apparently I owe a whole lot of my musical taste and the existence of some of my favourite albums to Sound City - a recording studio and the custom ordered Neve sound board. Analog and unforgiving, if you couldn't play or sing, there was nothing to hide behind and no way to make you sound like something you weren't.There really are three parts to this documentary. The history of the thing, the invasion of the digital age and how that changed things forever when it came to how albums were recorded, and the re use of the equipment. I remember liking a Dave Grohl and Paul McCartney song that managed to run away with a Grammy despite no one having heard of it and it was off an album that Dave Grohl and company made with the Neve board. Yeah, I may have just gone and bought that album. If you're a music lover, specially one of bands like Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Nirvana, Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails, and and whole bunch of other artists (seriously, the amount of hit records this place has is astounding) you'll love it. It's a great film to feel nostalgic too as much as sad and hopeful about. Highly recommended.

Chandra R (ag) wrote: easily one of the best afterdark movies I have seen. creepy and keeps you at the edge of your seat right up until the twist at the end.

Julia L (nl) wrote: The only thing that comes to mind is that this is a real life horror story. It's very eerie and very shocking. The location is something from a scary movie.

BF E (mx) wrote: Bread and Tulips is a sweet, light film but it isn't "fluff." Winner of nine Donatello Awards, this is a story told with subtlety and delectable humor. Licia Maglietta as Rosalba is wonderful, and the music. . .I'm not really a fan of accordion, but I played the scene of Rosalba's debut of the little waltz over and over until I'd had enough.

Joyce M (fr) wrote: A thoroughly haunting animation not for kids. This is Orwell's forte - giving you a dystopian world with the least touch of humanity and conscience. Showing you how humans ourselves could be the cause of humans' downfall. Now I gotta go read the book.

Andrew M (au) wrote: Pretty retarded, but really what did you expect from a Troma movie with a title like THIS??And the other reviewer is right...Mojo Nixon is the highlight of this film and makes it somewhat bearable.

Jason N (it) wrote: Army of Darkness is severly underrated and deserves way more accolades. If you dont like that it's more of a comedy action then a horror that's fine but try to forget about the horror and watch the slapstick comedy ensue. Bruce Campbell plays a tired pissed off hero who just wants to get home but he's a human being so he is going to make some major mistakes. Everything from the dialouge to the screams coming from Ash's mouth are entertaining and smoothly makes the movie fly right by.

Aniko V (es) wrote: pretty much a copy of the first, with minor variations, which usually make it even milder (if such a thing is possible at all). teenage girls are likely to love it, though

Reggie W (ca) wrote: grotesque is the word, besides bloody nonsense, for this film

Private U (kr) wrote: Made me want to dig my eyes out with a spoon to avoid watching

ShinyHappyPurple (it) wrote: I'll always have a soft spot for this because it intoduced me to the band Bruce Hornsby and The Range. Two of their were played during the movie and thought "They these songs are really good. The singer has a great voice and I like the way the band sound" and after that I was hooked on them. The movie itself will always be a favourite of mine too.

Sandra A (it) wrote: I must confess I can't resist to a surf saga, specially a true story...I don't care about the script , the big waves are beautiful!
