Mind-control technology has taken society by a storm, a multiplayer on-line game called "Slayers" allows players to control human prisoners in mass-scale. Simon controls Kable, the online champion of the game. Kable's ultimate challenge becomes regaining his identity and independence by defeating the game's mastermind.

In a future mind-controlling game, death row convicts are forced to battle in a 'Doom'-type environment. To the players, Kable and the other inmates are just simulated characters. Justin L (us) wrote: Really good, campy fun until the ending. It ruined a perfectly good movie.

Gerard D (au) wrote: Jeff Lieberman's cult film is a horrorthriller about people that experimented with the LSD 'strain' Blue Sunshine and change into bald, psychotic killers, 10 years later. Weird but compelling. Zalman King plays the wrongfully accused man in search for the truth.

Kevin M W (au) wrote: Burt Lancaster is a sheriff tasked with finding the group of cowboys who accidentally murder an old man during a one drunken night's revelry. Lee J. Cobb is the leader of said group. The tension is gained when the group refuse to go quietly to trial. Or: the letter of the law versus the spirit of the law, which way are you gonna go? Lancaster play the letter quite well, "just the facts, m'am" but with an open style, allowing the tension that the other actors project (and so the audience) to come to him and this favors the whole effort. Sheree North is the woman he left behind and she's good as an honest portrayal of a Western woman. For a Western, and asking "what is morality?" this one's no typical cartoon oater and definitely worth a look.

Malia P (it) wrote: a great screwball comedy with a great cast. funny and darling at the same time. it really is a cute film. it's a shame you really don't see films like this anymore.

Jess L (mx) wrote: Never have I watched a movie quite like this and had such a reaction. At the same time I was fighting back tears I was also feeling like I was going to throw up; this is a confronting film no matter how many times you have seen footage of Nazi Germany. I had studied this era quite extensively but this movie still felt like a punch in the gut. The cross between colour footage of the empty concentration camps falling apart, to the black and white file footage during the war, the eery yet beautiful narration takes you on a tour of this time and place in history, yet doesn't confine the message so specifically. The whole point of this film is to remind humans of our capacity to continue letting such atrocities occur. This is a film everyone must see as it is all too common to forget the lessons from our past.

Debbie M (fr) wrote: A great story of love, loneliness, tragedy, judgment and endurance. Bette Davis was born to make this movie. It has all the elements of greatness, great story, great actors and the tragedy of love found but doomed and human faith with strength of charters. I have seen this movie a hundred times and it still moves me like I'm watching it for the first time.

Bedford C (br) wrote: It's a OK comedy. It drags a little, and there are times they should have gone further with the comedy than they did...more of them should have hit the girl scouts.

Steve R (us) wrote: Much more fun than I expected. Not exactly genius, but a really entertaining cast and dumb fun!
