En su trabajo es muy meticulossa y perfeccionista, pero en su vida personal es muy tmida y reservada, lo que le hace incapaz de establecer relaciones sociales con otras personas. Luego de desarrollar una amistad con Hubert(Janet McTeer), otra mujer que vive la vida de un hombre, decide que ella tambin quiere una vida completa como un hombre, y empieza a soar con poseer un negocio a su nombre, e inclusive en tener una esposa. Tratar de conquistar a Helen, (Mia Wasikowska), una sirvienta del hotel, que la usa para conseguir lo que quiere. A su vez, ella tambin ser manipulada por Joe(Aaron Johnson), su novio. La historia nos muestra la complejidad de la relacin de autoconocimiento de Nobbs quien vive su alter ego masculino, sin aceptar su escencia femenina, salvo en contadas oportunidades y no sin vergenza. Muy buena performance de Glenn Close // Albert Nobbs(Glenn Close) bring us the story of a woman living the life of a man. Albert Nobbs lives as a waiter and a servant in a hotel. He is very meticulous and perfectionist when doing her job. However, in her personal life, Albert is a very shy and introverted person, uncapable to stablish relationships with other people. After developing a friendhisp with Hubert (Janet McTeer), another woman living the life of a man, she decides that she also can have a full life as a man, and accomplish her dream to own an important business with her name, Albert Nobbs on it, and even to have a wife. She will try to conquer Helen (Mia Wasikowska), who uses her to obtain what she wants as she is also being manipulated by her boyfriend Joe (Aaron Johnson). The story tells the complexity of the character who lives her alter-ego, as a man, in a full way, but she almost never allows to be seeing as a woman. Very good performance by Glenn Close
