(ru) wrote: It's really more of a concert DVD with a twist than a proper movie, so if you don't like BSS I would skip this one. Luckily I do, but I was still super confused when the two male leads started boning each other after all the fuss over this girl. She had great hair though.

And then drinks! IT!), but there(TM)s also plenty of beauty to look at: dragonfly wings, fluttering butterflies, and crickets chirping happily.I enjoyed it, even if it didn(TM)t exactly convince me that I need to keep anything other than furry, four-legged creatures in my house.

(kr) wrote: Very weak and lifeless comedy/murder/detective film which can't quite decide what it really wants to be overall, Wilder of course is a comic genius and Radner was also at her peak of powers but neither really come across as funny or interesting. The whole film is pretty dull with nothing much happening anywhere, one minute its a 'who done it?' the next its a slapstick farce? could work but here it simply doesn't and its a shame as everyone loves Wilder and wants to see him in good films.

(fr) wrote: Amazing movie! Just awesome! Really interesting story behind it, amazing cast, nice scenario and lots and lots of laughs! The soundtrack of the movie may as well be among one of the best of all times! I am already looking for the OST to listen to it. I liked the ending, so much, especially when the tragedy was avoided and especially when the Count survived, even if it looked like a long shot! Pretty girls, nerds, music, humor... What else do you need to have a good time? One of the best music-related movies of all times! Up there with the Solist, Pianist, Legend of 1900, etc.
(au) wrote: Dated and just not that funny, Robert Altman's film adaptation of the satirical novel doesn't have half the cultural impact that the TV series that followed it did.
