(fr) wrote: This film's a reel killer! Richard Gere is, perhaps, the most untalented actor Hollywood has ever come up with. What, in the Old Testament, is a powerful, dramatic story has now turned into one of the most boring film's of all time! Unfortunately this film's longevity and influence have been the downfall of film making today; the acting, the writing, the editing, the music, the cinematography have all taken a step further from John Boorman's excruciatingly boring "Excalibur" (1981) and made us all suffer through "The Lord of the Rings" (2001-2003) and now "The Chronicles of Narnia". Heaven help us!
