Stanley C (jp) wrote: Trolls' emphasis on ugly big things wanting to eat small things that are 50% hair and 10% nose seems repulsive, and the script hardly makes up for that. I also found the characters rather ugly and disgusting to look at. DreamWorks never was, or ever will match Pixar's classic features like Toy Story or Wall-E. Though I did enjoy Anna Kendrick's musical performance, I'll give her that. Overall, I have to confess I still (slightly) enjoyed Trolls anyways regardless of unpolished character designs, and I was fond of the story of how Burgen King McLovin makes love to another just-as-ugly Burgen and the "Selling you out" joke.

Mitchell L (br) wrote: This is a great summer movie. See it. See it twice or three times, even. If you're looking for high art or something that really speaks to you and changes the way you see the world, don't see it. But if you want to see a movie for the sake of entertainment and having a good time, Suing the Devil is the movie to go to.

Brian B (it) wrote: While this movie has a powerful story, it has flaws which bring it down but it's still a great movie nonetheless. This tale follows a family growing up in the early 1900's in the country. It details how they go through many different obstacles and how their lives are effected. This movie won an Oscar for "Best Cinematography" in 1994. This movie does impress you with spectacular scenery and landscapes but that's the least this movie has to offer.Firstly, I do feel that this is a powerful story. It has a moving plot, several moving and emotional scenes, and great narration. It has the ability to move you. Although I feel that some scenes dragged on a bit too long, the movie was able to keep my attention for the most part. There were just a few scenes I grew bored in.The acting is really hit or miss. I didn't think it was absolutely terrible but it didn't impress me all too much either. Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins were the only 2 actors who gave good performances in my opinion. The rest were either mediocre or bad performances. They weren't completely terrible like some low-budget movies but they just didn't impress me.I mentioned that the movie has great narration. But while it does, it still has the tendency to get a little cheesy at times. It doesn't happen too often but when it does, I can't help but cringe. So in conclusion, this is a pretty great movie. I appreciate it for what it is but like most movies, it's not without its flaws and it can get on your nerves too. However, I for one enjoyed this film. It was well-done and I felt a lot of emotions while watching it. I recommend it to other fans of the genre.

When the body is stolen during the funeral, Billy is also killed by a dart when he jumps on the helicopter that is making off with the coffin and now it's up to his wayward little brother to avenge both men's deaths. His search leads him to the palace of crazy fighter Roy Horan, who eats raw venison, drinks deer's blood, carries a monkey on his shoulder and owns some killer peacocks and lions. What happens next is like nothing you could ever imagine with krazy kool kung-fu action (directed by the legendary Yuen Wo-Ping), at the final showdown.

Michael T (de) wrote: Surprisingly good and half the sets look like they stepped out of a Shag painting (albeit with a much more dismal color palette). Forget the plot, etc. - this is just Frank being charismatic in the 60s.

Uriel G (ag) wrote: While there is no specific point in the story, the wandering of the script allows us to know better the characters that are the soul of the film. These characters are really human, with human problems. In technical matters, photography is perfect and gives us some of the most recognizable and enigmatic scenes of the cinema

Trish H (it) wrote: HATED IT! My boyfriend loves all of Rob Zombie's movies, so when this came out, I bought it for him. I was actually looking forward to watching it myself, and boy, was I sorely disappointed! I found myself looking around the room during the movie, or zoning off into space. A couple of times, my eyes even tried to close on me, so it was a let down of epic proportions. A definite snooze fest that I wish I hadn't wasted my money on and my boyfriend readily agrees.
