John S (jp) wrote: "Eden Log" is one of those rare films that puts you into a surreal environment, forcing you to figure out throughout the film what the hell is going on, along with its main character. The awkward environment, the modest budget and the slow (for a recent film) pace may scare off many people. Nevertheless, this film has a lot to offer to those who's looking for something different. "Eden Log" is anything like any film I've ever seen. This film is not for everyone. The plot and the scenery are anything but mainstream, however those who're into a more experimental kind of movie may what they're looking for. Watch it at your own discretion.
John D (de) wrote: Its not an Oscar winner, and I can't vouch for the authenticity of the story, but I can say that this is an exceptionally entertaining movie. You will not be disappointed with the characters. Yes, Chris Pine phoned this one in, but Alan Rickman is wonderful, and Bill Pullman is Bill Pullman. The movie is fun and funny, as well as encourages you to get a bottle of your favorite vino and kick back while cheering America!
Nonya B (it) wrote: I think this movie was totally stupid. I wouldn't recommend this movie if it were the last movie on earth.

Kingsley U (ag) wrote: Despite it's compelling performances and at times surreal narrative, this film never lives up to the intensity of the opening credits (a graphic slide show of real life, drug-related homicides). Lee is at his best when his directorial style implores viewers to think for themselves, particularly on the moral consequences of the characters' actions. Clockers does away with this in favor of a direct and obvious message; at best it's preachy, at worst it's nagging.
Pauline P (nl) wrote: A dleightful film. Stockard Channing stole it as the hardened PR executive. Bob Hoskins was fun, and also a great cameo performance from Anthony Head.

Shame O (jp) wrote: it's a gentle movie about two very brittle, delicate people. they don't always get on, but they keep choosing to stay together over the course of the night; gradually a bond forms between them that will last the rest of their lives. eventually all good things must end, and our protagonists have to choose to abandon their present lives or go their separate ways.
