Very contrived in its execution, the level of coincidences destroys any suspension of disbelief. It seems everything that happens to this family is a national scandal, and every danger directly involves a member of the family.

As is expected on a low budget direct to DVD feature, the acting, effects and overall production are quite bad. Plenty of plot holes and unexplained points. However, it has enough going for it to create a pretty entertaining horror movie. I would certainly recomend it to fans of the original and horror movie junkies, but if you don't fall into those catagories, I'd say just skip it.

Then watching a visible moment when the director quit, and the actors deciding they where going to try and make sense of what was started because the writers didn't care anymore.
