Kenny G (kr) wrote: 5 stars for Essoe and 1 star for the way it gave up on the good start of the movie.

Kevin V (au) wrote: Really only worth watching as an exercise in how a few very particular missteps can take a well-told horror story and turn it into something extremely aggravating.

Timm S (jp) wrote: I Enjoyed It, But Not As Much As The Predecessors..They Seemed More Witty & Better Paced. The New Characters In This Third Edition Also Were A Bit Ho-Hum..Bland.

Angela G (es) wrote: Funny in a weird way, actually pretty entertaining.

Mustafa E (br) wrote: clinched to hollywood with action scenes, still in yesilcam with so many social messages - and a girl who wanders around during the entire movie.

Dustin G (au) wrote: An oppressively uncomfortable watch, Martyrs shoots for the skies of extreme cinema and occasionally hits the mark. Some say it's pointlessly cruel, others say it's a revelation and possibly a game changer, others still don't see what all the fuss is about. Whatever your opinion one thing is for sure: this is a heavy movie with heavy themes and violence which feels all too realistic. But it's also very, very well made and bravely acted. And it deserves credit for that.

Al M (es) wrote: Whisper attempts to blend the supernatural horror genre with the kidnapping thriller genre, and it manages to be somewhat entertaining but not in a way that will ultimately be memorable.

Glen S (br) wrote: It's a "B" movie - no great actors. Some neat music and some great scenery. The story is good, but, more important, it says things that need to be said by some and heard by many.

Brett G (fr) wrote: i love this movie great cast the crew did a good job this is a winner like the first one

Laas v (de) wrote: Nice feelgood family fun, starring Carice van Houten, Theo Maassen, Pierre Bokma and voices of Paul Haenen, Wim T. Schippers, Loes Luca and Hans Teeuwen. Really enjoyed watching it, even though it's target audience is children.

intuciic (fr) wrote: quite ok movie! watchable.

James B (es) wrote: too long and too predictable. it really had a chance to be good, but it just couldn't quite make it.

Carlos M (ca) wrote: A godawful, incomprehensible schlock that can't make itself understood even with that endless, gigantic text crawl that opens it, and I don't believe no one realized that Tara Reid can't convince as someone who would open the door of a museum, let alone be an archaeologist.

Mark D (br) wrote: It was funny! Eddie Murphy's jokes and stunts he pulled were hilarious! The action was good as well.

D M (ca) wrote: The two stars given are earned exclusively by the lead actors, without whom the tensity would be considerably weakened, leaving this movie with not a lot left to stand on. While often espoused as "controversial" or "brave," the subject of pederasty is used as an easy-target incendiary device in order to make torture more palatable to the viewer. While you do get the occasional sense that the protagonist is herself disturbed, by the end of the film it feels as though she is celebrated as a paragon of vigilantism. Boiled down, Hard Candy is violent revenge fantasy with a strong sense of moral superiority.
