KJ P (ru) wrote: Well this just about does it in for direct-to-dvd sequels. About 20 years after the release of "The Little Rascals," someone thought that having another remake of the film, still set in the 1950's, was somehow a good idea. I must say that even though they tried to make the characters seem like they were, the actors and dialogue are so much worse it's almost unbearable. I will also say that it's 100 minute running time is ridiculous for the type of film that it is. As their grandmothers bakery is about to be foreclosed, they have to raise money to save it. Literally the most cliched hollywood story in the book. I found myself bored most of the time. I giggled at a few homages, but that is all the good that came from this pile of junk. Pure garbage at it's finest. "The Little Rascals Save the Day" is unfunny even by childish standards. That's right, I wouldn't even show this film to little kids.

Chris H (ru) wrote: Biollante is a totally unique and refreshing opponent for Godzilla, but she's sadly severely underused in this boring Godzilla flick featuring a final battle of not monsters but two boring and poorly acted humans mud wrestling. There's also a good bit of English speaking actors in this, and their acting is SHAMEFUL. For real, the middle eastern bad guy sounds like Napoleon Dynamite. And this wasn't even a dub!

Jayakrishnan R (es) wrote: 77%Saw this on 2/12/14Time Bandits is likeable film for fans of fantasy and Terry Gilliam, others may find the utterly PG-13 script to be ridiculing. The film lagged a lot up to the first 30 minutes, from there it slightly picks up pace. Gilliam's Monty Python friends are disappointing and so is Ian Holm as Napolean. The lack of gore and action is slightly disappointing, but still the visuals and sets are mind blowing considering the time upon which it was made. Sean Connery is one amongst the few senior actors who succeeded in their roles. The performance of Craig Warnock must be praised as the boy is one of the best aspects of this film. It requires praise for being able to make a sound film without such a hefty cast and combining top notch visuals and sets. However, the lack of tension is evident and a bit disheartening. Like almost all the other Gilliam movies( 12 Monkeys and Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus), the film film has a mysterious and strange ending.

John S (de) wrote: Richard Attenborough delivers one of the most chillingly believable performance i've ever seen, in this classic serial killer film. Although, the film is guilty of being rather straightforward. I found myself emotionally wanting by the time the credits ran. When analyzed on paper, this film is a bit two-dimensional, but Attenborough's performance vindicates everything and anything.

Ashley H (gb) wrote: Seraphim Falls is a decent film. It is about a colonel who hunts down a man with whom he has a grudge at the end of the civil war. Liam Neeson and Pierce Brosnan give good performances. The script is okay but seems to drag a little in places. David Von Ancken did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the drama and adventure.
