Judy M (ru) wrote: "Welcome to Antique" More Commonly know as Antique Bakery this ,movie really defines what a new fresh aspect is all about. I don't think i have ever laughed so much in a movie at simple akward moments. Not only does this movie make you laugh but also it draw you in at an emotional level, so in other words you really fall in love with the characters and thier personalities. Now Kim Jae-Wook did a fantasic job with his character, so much that he's my second favorite (props to Ji-hun Ju). Sure the angust is there like in a lot of korean media but it was never over the top or not enough. I defenite watch if youu want to have a good time with some friends or you just want to watch something without action that will be memorable. ;)

There's even a advocacy group chanting, "We're here, we're dead, get used to it." It's a very clever spin on the modern zombie film, until all the characters head out for Live Dead, an annual zombies-only festival. The film crew gets special permission to film until the last night when they are told to leave but sneak back and capture some disturbing footage. Looks like those zombies were up to something, after all, something we've seen hundreds of times before. Too bad about John.
Derek W (jp) wrote: This movie is verry much over looked, and rightfully so, just look at the cover. It rely's on the star power of D.L. Hughley, and thats it's downfall. The split screen stuff with the poet is really cool. It makes me think of that line from a scatman john sont"The book's in his shoping cart is probably the best education he's ever going to have." This movie is pretty damn good and surprisingly well made.

Allan C (gb) wrote: Solid British sci-fi thriller. This one is somewhat distinguished as being more intelligent than most sci-fi films of the time, which often seemed to be aimed at kids. This one fits into the "Day the Earth Stood Still" category of science fiction aimed at adult audiences. I also seemed to see some story elements that I think influenced the underrated "Lifeforce".
