Andy P (jp) wrote: It's low brow, vulgar and completely ridiculous but the title promises nothing else. If this is your thing, Jackass: the movie is hysterical.

eric v (kr) wrote: Beautiful music, terrific acting from the 4 main characters, a very touching movie.

Ashley T (ca) wrote: I'm really picky about my musicals, and I strongly prefer the stories to be contemporary. This is very dated, though I suppose it's well done if you can get past that. None of the stars have the best singing voices though. The Christmas song is annoyingly catchy.

Gavin S (fr) wrote: Fred Astaire always was one stylish dude. Also fun to see Rat Packer Peter Lawford. I'm no Garland fan, but this was fine, as she wasn't the entire focal point and hadn't turned into a nutcase in real life yet. Irving Berlin tunes are great, and I'm perplexed as to how I seemed to know some of them, yet I don't recall how or why. Particularly great was Astaire's opening number with the drums in the toy shop. A fun, lighthearted musical, and anything with Fred Astaire is going to be good. Give it a try sometime.
