Spencer S (fr) wrote: This may be the most fascinating documentary to be made solely about a family since "An American Family." Jackie and David Siegel are some of the most shallow and yet intelligent people in America, being worth billions, both having a good education, and business acumen. They have gaudy taste, a love of McDonald's, and an inability to understand the debt they owe. Jackie spends too much money, plans for a huge home they now can't afford, and suffers under her husband's ill treatment and cranky attitude. The film starts with them doing well in 2008, planning to build the biggest home in America, and ends two years later with bankruptcy, a defaulted mortgage, and a shipwrecked marriage. The documentarians also interviewed their nannies, their children, their relatives, and others affected by the recession's claim on Siegel's billion dollar company. It's both sad to watch them fall from their pedestal, and creepily satisfying to watch them now know loss. The film ends on a sour note as the family unit starts to collapse, and nothing seems to be resolved. This is a must watch for anyone who loves people who are characters in and of themselves.

Wesley R (ru) wrote: Eighty-six minutes of feeling like an awkward third-wheel observing the lives of the characters. The relationship between the two sisters is an interesting one, but they mainly tend to only talk about sex most of the time; in particular the discussion of losing one's virginity for the first time. Most of this film I just felt bored and was waiting for something bad to happen. This film just has an ever-present atmosphere of depression. Suddenly in the last 15 minutes of the film something shocking happens that literally comes right out of nowhere. I mean there's no way you could have seen it coming since the film doesn't give you any foreshadowing on the event that ends it. It does thematically tie into the theme of innocence lost, though, but leaves you with the cinematic equivalent of having a bad taste in your mouth.

Jebus B (ru) wrote: It was sort of a solid action flick but the story wasn't all that great.

Leesa M (ca) wrote: Its funny and definitely one you could watch over and over, but I don't thing it's the best of all time. Its hilarious and genius making fun of all the King Arthur movies, but I still prefer movies like Hot Fuzz or Grandma's Boy. Definitely worth the watch.

Jason T (br) wrote: Dolphin tale has lots of heart and some good cinematography. Great for the whole family. Don't expect any surprises though and the "feel good" nature is really heavy handed to you. A few unnecessary scenes as well.

Marguerite L (ru) wrote: The movie was ridiculously absurd and weird, in a bad way unfortunately. I think the one of the few positive thing in this movie are the images. Elija's acting was great!
