Anthony S (de) wrote: There's a lot of tension and creepiness in The Midnight Game. It certainly keeps you on your toes. Great to see Valentina de Angelis in this.

Matt C (us) wrote: It definitely has its interesting moments thanks to its unflinching darkness and intriguing music choices combined with the good acting, but it also starts to ware on you. I got bored around the 105 minute mark.

Marco R (it) wrote: They did a serously good job with the CGI.

Dan B (br) wrote: There's something missing if Will Ferrell doesn't make you laugh in this. The last third is all a bit shoehorned but I can forgive this in a nice feel good family Xmas flick with laughs aplenty.

Sarah Z (jp) wrote: Intrigues, love and sex with the Duchess, jealousy from the queen, and finally the Duchess killed, but who killed her? Bigas Luna was able to ensemble a plot, which starts with few dialogs, good photographs, Aitana Sanchez-Gijon (The Duchess) and Penelope Cruz showing something of their charms, one Jorge Perugorria (Goya painter) talking or whispering, probably making an effort to avoid his Cuban accent, Jordi Molla as a lover and powerful minister, and Stefania Sandrelli, no matter how old she is, as a queen, and also a lover. The excitement really starts after mid film, and more than a drama it becomes a good thriller.

Louise D (de) wrote: Of course this is shallow propaganda, but you can really see why it is so revered. The shots are indelible: still gorgeous, original, dynamic and rousing 90 years on.

Chris C (us) wrote: While not as energetic as most of his films, Holy Man brings about a more mellow but still funny performance by Eddie Murphy as well as solid talent from Jeff Goldblum and Kelly Preston.
