Michael M (ca) wrote: The Brits certainly have a different type of humor. Some of it sticks and some of it sinks. It's not really that great of a movie and it's got a very non-Hollywood ending but there are a couple hilarious scenes involved like Anna Faris trying to be in the threesome and the digital picture frame scene is also pretty funny.

Tomek S (gb) wrote: a great band. a great documentary

Ron Z (gb) wrote: I enjoy how the director shows about doing education first and then the personal endeavours.

June N (ca) wrote: Very fun, cute German movie. This is definately worth seeing!

Charles G (de) wrote: Makes one think about what life would be if roles were reversed, etc.

Douglas L (fr) wrote: Ok yeah its pretty dumb and what not, but it was pretty damn funny. This is kinda when eddie started his multi role performances. After remembering coming across this as a young kid, I realized when I confused eddie with snipes for blade lol. Movie is worth a watch because its fairly funny.

Private U (ag) wrote: I really enjoyed Harris' book. The movie adaptation has some major differences but it was a good movie after all. Also, there are not many alternate history movies out there. I wish that was made into a big blockbuster.

Kyle G (de) wrote: I didn't see this movie all the way through, but what I saw of it was very good. I loved the action, the story, the acting. Very good.

Cory T (de) wrote: A tribute to the Quatermass serials of yesteryear as well as a hodgepodge of other elements, 'Lifeforce' is one of the most messily dazzling science-fiction epics of the last quarter-century. Tobe Hooper was still in an experimental phase after 'Poltergeist' was wrested away from him by producer Steven Spielberg. The opening music with the London Symphony Orchestra reminds one of '2001' but the film quickly deviates into more addlepated territory. The film is very episodic in nature and it hopscotches from cosmic vampires to telepathic interspecies links to an apocalyptic movie. Dan O'Bannon and Don Jakoby are from the kitchen-sink school and they toss every wildly bombastic idea into the souffl and for the most part, 'Lifeforce' is successful in its ambitiously lofty goals. The mammoth set aboard the 150-mile long spaceship are quite breathtaking in their scale for a Cannon production. Of course, any movie where Steve Railsback kisses Patrick Stewart because he is a female avatar isn't lacking a morbid sense of humor. For those with a strictly lustful interest in the film, Mathilda May's curvaceous body is on full display throughout most of the movie. As a style-over-substance picture, 'Lifeforce' is thunderously awe-inspiring and reconfirms Hooper's grasp of outlandish horror (the reanimated skeletons are undeniably goofy puppets).

Private U (ag) wrote: Garbo is wonderful. I think that says it all really.

Nicholas W (nl) wrote: Excellent, complicated, brutal drama. Part legal procedural, part falling down and recovering crisis, part you'll never guess what's coming. Amazing cast, very good writing... Beckinsale like you've never seen her.

Ben S (es) wrote: Beautiful to watch and a very touching story. Great supporting actors and Saoirse Ronan does a very good job. However just left slightly underwhelmed by the whole thing - perhaps something to do with the pace - it did all seem to happen very quickly.

Anya S (us) wrote: There was no reason for there to be a sequel, and this one was not good at all. The acting was bad the story line was stupid and the ending was something out of a lifetime movie.
