Cody C (ca) wrote: Touching documentary about a musician I've loved for a very long time. Whether or not you have any interest in him, or shred guitar, you should still see it. His story is an important one.

Dan A (nl) wrote: There's a fine line between being "inspired" by a director, and totally ripping one off. This is like a Wes Anderson fan film that copies everything about his visual style and attempts to copy his dry narcissistic characters but falls well short of both. It's a shame the director didn't just concentrate on making the best film he could, because he has a good cast in Jason Bateman and Olivia Wilde, but he was clearly so transfixed with being Wes Anderson mark 2.

Jacob B (gb) wrote: What beautiful animation that I sat through. 'The Wind Rises' feels like a breath of fresh air when compared to films like 'Ponyo', 'Princess Mononoke' and 'Howl's Moving Castle' to name a few.

Anne S (kr) wrote: I knew very little about him.. I knew of him, but, I had NO clue.. wow. I feel bad for him, and truly wonder if modern psychiatric awareness would have helped him if he had it then.. He seems schizophrenic later on.. seriously so. I like this documentary as it showed things I would never have seen otherwise..

Rob C (ru) wrote: It was pretty much a black version of "Meet The Parents" and Craig Robinson wasn't enough to save the movie from a very drawn out film. Wasn't horrible but wasn't what I was expecting

Meg H (it) wrote: A lot of chinese lanuage in it, and really gruesome. Felt sick, and couldn't watch a lot of scenes. Very, very GORY, and I'm a big fan of horror movies!

Mel G (ca) wrote: I actually really enjoyed this movie, i'm a big fan of Colin but i really don't like Salma, but i really enjoyed this movie

Daniel T (fr) wrote: Another wonderful suburban set drama with bursts of quirkiness and real humour. The cast and the unravelling script were amazing. Ignore the top critics, what do they know?

D S (it) wrote: What a fantastic movie. A mixture of The Hills Have Eyes and Wrong Turn, only perhaps even better. Great, great film. You want deformity? You want crazy death scenes? You want hot chicks? Then you want this film. It's marketed as having Richard Grieco, and even moreso (including DVD cover picture) Jenna Jameson in it, but their roles are incredibly small. But this didn't matter one bit. The rest (although bad actors) were great in their respective roles. A fun fright night flick.

Les E (it) wrote: Ridiculous melodrama.People meet, fall desperately in love, rip each other apart and run away. All in 24 hours.

Katherine (br) wrote: Well, the plot was kinda typical.....so was the ending. The movie poster makes the movie look better. Oh well. There's a lot of naked women in it. Lol. That's the only reason it's rated R. Kate Beckinsale had such a small part. She looks really different, so I was like, where is she? the whole movie. The only person who did some good acting in this movie is Christian Bale. Duh.

Tim S (es) wrote: The first time that I saw Fletch, I have to admit that I just didn't see the appeal of it. It bored me to tears, but later I thought that maybe I wasn't in the right frame of mind while I was watching it. That happens to me sometimes and it makes me go back and re-evaluate things later on. That sort of turned out to be the case with this movie because I appreciated it more upon a second viewing. It's not the most genius comedy ever made, but it has a lot of fun moments and some great, witty one-liners. It has a lot in common with something like Beverly Hills Cop, especially the score, which was produced by the same composer, but it's a funny little mystery movie with Chevy Chase at the top of his game.

James H (kr) wrote: First blood creates some loveable characters and some hated characters as well. This is a film that you can genuinely understand the main characters problem and struggles and why he is rebelling against the police. Sylvester Stallone gives a great performance as Rambo and the supporting cast is also great.

Alberto G (au) wrote: Solid acting by the whole cast, and intriguing from start to finish. Would have wanted more of the courtroom drama treatment that movies like A Civil Action or Erin Brockovich got, but telling the story while focusing on the impact of the case on the flawed characters made for good storytelling.

Mark S (es) wrote: There's a saying in the entertainment business. "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of Americans." The fact dumbed-down CGI crap-fests rake in millions while an intelligent, ambiguous film such as The Words earns diddly is a testament to that statement.
