Carla S (nl) wrote: I expected more. Had a pretty decent soundtrack though.

Deanna B (ag) wrote: A seriously depressing film, why did I even bother?

Aidan H (jp) wrote: I don't know many actors today who could play a character as evil and corrupt as this but James Mason somehow manages to elicit some sympathy from us as his co-conspirator, played by the gorgeous Danielle Darrieux, robs him and leaves him at th mercy of both the Germans and the Brits. Suave, arrogant and cunning as ever, Mason's portrayal of the Albanian valet whose ambition to escape poverty leads to his downfall is immaculate. Also love the line: 'Why did you leave Poland?' 'Bombs were dropping. I thought I was in the way.'

Rachel H (it) wrote: I imagine the book is good. Movie isnt bad but could be a lot better.

Adrian B (de) wrote: Without a doubt one of the strangest movies I've had the unpleasantries of seeing.

Cort S (mx) wrote: I read the plot on Wikipedia before watching it. It helped me understand what was going on. I liked it and would give it 3 out of 5 star rating.

Vincent T (jp) wrote: Scenario simpliste certes mais on se laisse emporter par Travolta et cette dimension humaine que l'on ressent tout le long du film.

Stuart R (es) wrote: Michael Caine plays a jewel thief recruited by a beautiful young woman & her older husband to help them in their own criminal enterprises, only to encounter some strange secrets to their relationship. Overall, this film fails as both a heist flick and a psychological study and despite the odd flash of interest, it's merely dull.

Mike B (gb) wrote: This movie was hilarious!!! I love quirky random out of the box comedies and this was all of that and more!!! Gyllenhaal and Biel had great on screen chemistry and Morgan was a great comedic relief. Through out the whole movie I was cheering and actually laughing out loud.
