Sarah C (au) wrote: It almost looks like a documentary and it is even more fascinating once we know that it is based on a true story. I studied the story of Victor d'Aveyron in high school and the movie perfectly shows the philosophical strikes involved in the discovery of the boy. It is great to follow on screen the evolution of the "wild child" and the studes lead by the doctor. The only negative point I would find is Truffaut's pretty bad acting !

Jeff B (gb) wrote: I couldn't help but laugh that after the warning that this film is in no way related to those two famous products, it opens with a shot of a billboard ad. This film starts off interesting--with Mickey Rourke generally being cool--but quickly devolves into a bad made-for-TV movie. Also, they should have called this "Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man... and the random helicopter pilot who served in Vietnam." Terrible film.
David S (gb) wrote: A rather boring, depressing film. Al Pacino's acting is good, but there's not much substance to this movie. Better off searching elsewhere for a good Pacino flick.
