No where in the league of these video game masters though. Chasing Ghosts is a good companion piece to King of Kong & should be enjoyed by those who love the retro games. You get a nice look @ those who set the records back in 82 & what has become of them from the self righteous Roy 'Mr Awesome' Shildt master of Missile Command to the arrogant player of the century Billy Mitchell. Even though the bottom of the arcade business fell out by 84 due to the introduction of the Atari I still love these classic games making this a great retro experience (you even get a snippet of That's Incredible that I remember originally seeing on TV)

Didn't realize it was the first part and was originally extremely disappointed when the credits rolled but I skipped forward and the second part started so now I'm going to have to find another night to finish this epic. It's good so far though. I like historical dramas.

Nadine L (it) wrote: This is the most unbelievable crap I have ever seen in my life. I kept watching it because it's chock full of all these big stars. The lead actress can not act her way out of a pimp mobile, the director is a disaster, the script is a mish-mash p.o.s., how this project got off the ground to get made will haunt me to the end of my living days. Mystery HUGE!
Graham S (de) wrote: One of my least favorite Eastwood films. I dont understand why he has to go to all of these whores and what his deal is. Some weird plot ideas and a decent attempt at another decent cop movie.
David G (gb) wrote: The film is excellently acted and the script demands screen presence with Denzel's character in an interesting story and setting. But everything feels rushed to the revelation gruesome ending.
Caleb M (us) wrote: A muddled attempted at asking whether Hitler's art could have prevented him from his foray into politics. Cusack is fine, and Noah Taylor has his moments as a young Adolf Hitler, but the film bites off more than it can chew, and in the end feels a bit like a mildly interesting play crossed with some rather interesting ideas that never really come together to create a truly engaging film.
