Michael F (mx) wrote: Remember HALO Legends? All the separate episodes were drawn with different art styles. This time, the different chapters do the same for one plot, told separately by different characters. I'm glad the perspectives of each of the characters wasn't completely the same. But, I wish there were more weapons used; I really wanted to see the classic bloody "Remote Control Disc Ripper"

Jens T (gb) wrote: Reversal of Fortune is based on the book by the same name by lawyer Alan Dershowitz and tells the story about the real life Von Bulow case where Dershowitz (in this film played by Ron Silver) himself was the lawyer for the accused Claus Von Bulow (Jeremy Irons) who was accused of poisoning his wife Sunny Von Bulow (Glenn Close) who is now in coma, and still was during the release of this film. The story is mainly set on Claus' own flashbacks or reconstructions about the crime. We weirdly enough also get a narrative point of view from the sleeping Sunny who tells us about how she met and married her husband Claus. My opinion about this film is that's is a movie with good acting performances specially by Jeremy Irons as the charming british lawyer whom we don't really know how to categorize. We don't know if he's innocent or guilty. Ron Silver also does a great performance with his intelligent monologues and all. A wonderful screenplay and a wonderful cast. Thumbs up.

Danny V (gb) wrote: I am glad I saw this. The best Art film I ever seen, and I consider this an Art film, because of the low-budget, yet, highly entertaining and attention grabbing conversation. I think Louie Malle should have been nominated for this movie instead of the other one that year he directed. It has held up since it debuted. Although this film, would be trumped by another art film, "Kiss of the Spider Woman", I feel this was the best one. All others had to trump this, some did, but this is the king.
