While I enjoyed the film, I felt it was missing something. This is definetly a film that I would have to watch again to form a strong opinion.

It sidesteps them but doesnt work in much in the way to get too excited about. It meanders along rather than flows and aside with the biting dialogue at the start as the characters get to know each, everything else is a tad limp. Micharl Parducci is terrifically easy on the eyes and if anyone knows his mobile number i'd be in debt to you forever.

Jeff B (br) wrote: Beautiful movie, beautiful person--St. Francis of Assisi--but this film was, for the most part, very boring and didn't do that great of a job of portraying St. Francis' life. It had a really narrow focus and mixed in a bunch of Hippie baloney from the time around which it was made. (I liked the Donovan soundtrack, though.) I'm pretty disappointed in Zeffirelli for this one.

wedstarfish 8 (gb) wrote: Succeeding at being rather bad but enjoyable, Leprechaun is the very first installment in the horror movie franchise that honestly was dragged on for way too long. Obviously, this film is the best installment out of the entire series. In this typically bad directed but overall enjoyable film, a 400 year old leprechaun goes on a brutal killing spree to find the missing pieces of his gold. Despite Jennifer Aston's debut as an actor, the acting is really off, and it ends up being awkward at times. The film also suffers from bad elements of directing and production as well. Overall though, it's a pretty fun horror comedy that ends up being its own clever and creative thing. Definitely the most well directed (and best) film out of the franchise.
