Arturo P (br) wrote: Genius film in a few ways, it's a prequel to the original without even telling you. I didn't notice till the end like most, but there's many hints. For example the songs playing on the radio, the flip phones, the vehicles. This movie was great and quite possibly the best in the series. Why it's rated so low is beyond me.
Michael G (gb) wrote: Great movie! A big surprise. Nick Thurston was excellent. I hope he gets more work. He's one to keep an eye on. Sadly this went largely unnoticed. It's an award-worthy gem that deserves to be seen.

Joe M (mx) wrote: A bit cheesy, a bit dated but overall great, campy, tongue in cheek movie that riffs on HP Lovecraft in a very well done manner. If your a Lovecraft fan - as well as Fred Ward and the rest of this overall great cast - well worth finding and watching.

Thomas W (ca) wrote: With an absurdist premise that only seems to become more prophetic as time goes on, writer/director Mike Judge's 'Idiocracy' is a criminally overlooked comedic satire. Luke Wilson and Maya Rudolph both give worthy performances as Joe Bowers and Rita, two average people from 2005, left far from home in an anti-intellectual dystopian future. Mike Judge's incredibly dumb, intentionally banal script works perfectly, as viewers witness the frighteningly stupid and hypersexualized world, 500 years in the future.Final Grade: A

Benji G (br) wrote: The first half an hour or so of the film really drags, and is none of the jokes are inventive or really hit at all. The only thing that was keeping my attention was the impeccable chemistry between the main cast. They seem to really enjoy working together and bounce off one another well. The movie really picks up pace once the aliens are revealed.
