Having followed the box wars phenomenon since very early on in its inception but never taking part, I was as much interested in the crazy box war events that Skullman brought to Canada from Australia as I was in Greg Sommer the metalhead master behind everything.McConnell manages to capture a lot of "magic" over the course of many years in order to bring this documentary together. While it is far from perfect I did laugh out loud many times which is not something any previous documentary has had the previledge of achieving.

Murray S (it) wrote: So engrossing. You could run a film school teaching out of this film alone.

Travis J (nl) wrote: Rather curious to me that Flixster calls this an erotic film. It does have an animatronic vulva monster (a brilliant effect) in it but I hardly see how that puts it in the sex movie category.Anyway, it's brilliant. And it's short, so you can watch it often!

Jonathan W (it) wrote: What made this movie work was the characters. Specifically the female characters. You get to know who they are and care about them and what they are doing or hoping for in the film. In a lot of films made decades later you find female characters are written as either generic girlfriends/wives, sex objects or he-women feminist types who "don't need a man". As a man it was refreshing to see female characters who are still feminine and girly but have a lot of depth to them. Modern day writers can learn a lot about how to write proper female characters from this film.

Joshua J (ag) wrote: Entertaining movie, not as good as the first one. It seemed like they re-used some of the first movie's sets.

Scott B (ca) wrote: Because I got the 007 blu-ray box set for Christmas from my best friend, I recently watched a good number of them when I had the time, and just the other day I sat down to watch this one. Well it wasn't as bad as I remember it being but it still isn't all that great. It's yet another Bond movie, and Moore is clearly getting too old for the role. But hey, it looks like The Godfather compared to what came next...

Harrison W (de) wrote: Really enjoyed it. The humor was perfect in timing and tone for me. The optimism in the main plot line really aligned with my beliefs, and I liked that they left a lot up to mystery. That said, I didn't care for the main plot as much as I was in love with the universe the film created. Every secondary character and location and circumstance was great. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that a lot of people didn't enjoy it because they didn't get that one of the points of the film is that the characters are unimportant and that everything that happens pales in comparison to armageddon. It's not about the ending, it's about the journey. And of course, like everything T.J.'s in, he steals the show. Not surprised.
