(it) wrote: I know, I know, I'm stupid for even watching this movie, but it was so hilariously awful, it was entertaining to watch. The title character Lloyd was played by the kid from Little Giants, the one that got sick all the time, and something tells me either that kid is like Gary Coleman, or the film was made in 96 and released in 2001, because the actor looks exactly the same in both movies. Basically the movie is about a nerdy kid in school that wants to become popular and go out with the girl he likes, but everyone makes fun of him. The usual story. But it's so stupid and pointless. However, the two best parts of the film are the coach and the other teacher, (played by Tony Longo and Taylor Negron). They were so hilarious and over the top, it was great. Negron stole the show (well, there wasn't much there to steal from), two lines in particular were my awesome "It's not good to be shy. Once when I was little I had a pet goat and he was shy. So my father killed it and we ate it for dinner as a family." and "If you need help with your schoolwork you can ask your friend. Or your imaginary friend. When I was in school and needed help I asked my imaginary friend Mr. Lumpy and he helped me with my microbiology and advanced calculus." So, to end this review which is probably longer than the actual movie, don't bother with it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a small cult following (there's already a facebook group dedicated to it).
