Dann M (ag) wrote: In Good Company is a smart and prolific film that offers some insightful commentary on corporate downsizing and its effects. The story follows a middle-aged father named Dan Foreman whose life is thrown into turmoil when his company is bought out, and he finds himself working for a boss half his age who has no experience. The casting is really good, and includes Dennis Quaid, Topher Grace, and Scarlett Johansson; who all deliver strong performances. Additionally, the writing is quite good, especially in its witty satire and social commentary. Still, there are some script issues, and it plays things a bit safe. Fun and sincere, In Good Company is a timely film with some interesting things to say.

Plus, one of my favourite actors, Raul Julia, is in one scene and then killed off in the next scene, which made me angry. There is also a lot of card playing in the movie, as if watching people play cards is exciting! If you're looking for a thrilling, gritty, exciting movie don't watch this one.

Helen E (fr) wrote: I don't know why people have given this such bad reviews...it isn't that bad! Firstly, its not really a horror film, well not to me. It's a low budget art film. Shot on gritty 16mm, it has a distinctly 1970s New York underground feel which I loved. Everyone looked so cool, especially Pamela played by Baybi Day. The band were cool, the spaceage score was also cool. Reno is an interesting character. His mental disintegration manages to be chillingly believable. But there were bits that were just too random or weird and didn't fit and the ending wasn't all that great either. It's not a fantastic film by all means but it has a good atmosphere and arty feel..gotta give it credit for that.
