Erik B A (us) wrote: When the movie ended, no one in the audience moved a muscle to leave until the last line of the creditsand the last note of the score a was over. The only other time I remember seeing such an impact on a theater was the opening weekend of Schindler's List. I don't know if many will agree with me, but this film has quickly shot to the top of the list of my favorite films.

Nicole K (es) wrote: I thought this movie was well done, very real, and thought provoking. If this doesn't make you want to travel to India and help try to make the world a better place for children I don't know what will.

(ca) wrote: I don't care what anyone thinks, I really enjoyed this movie. I understand some of the acting is horrible but you have to take into account, this film is amazingly low-budget. The two directors act in it because actors were too expensive. This is a Canadian horror movie and one of the first modern day ones that I've seen. Yes it is brutal and does compare with foreign movies like Eden Lake and Wolf Creek as well as American ones like Hostel. I think this is really well made for an indie movie. The violence in this movie is so well done and it has put the Canadian effects artists, The Gore Brothers in the horror genre. The three villains are well created. The best is Ivan, the main villain. He is the one who brings the main characters into his house and then begins torturing them. The other two villains, Wade and The Slob are well made too. All together, I think the villains in this are alot better than Jigsaw. I really think that this movie will put Canada back on the map for horror film making and hopefully the directors decide to do something in this genre again because they did a great job. The Most Messed up part of the movie: The Slob`s basement was pretty wrong. 10/10

Randy P (gb) wrote: It could have been exciting and fun, which some moments do shine. Also Nicholas Cage plays a better role then his usual films, but it's not his best role.Next is just disappointing.

Elin G (fr) wrote: Long time since I saw this, but I remember it being sweet and fluffy.

Jenny Z (ag) wrote: This is bad and near unwatchable. This is notably because of the plot - I can't decide if a plot actually existed or if it was so convoluted and needlessly obscure that noone ended up caring. There was a cat space race. So I guess there's that...

Grant K (es) wrote: The fact this has a 0% and stars Billy Zane makes it required viewing by default.

Mary Kathryn P (it) wrote: Although extremely fast-paced and sometimes confusing to follow, Footlight Parade is still before it's time in cinema. Catchy musical numbers and work from a talented James Cagney made this film really something.

Adam H (ru) wrote: Eddie Murphy = Same old routine. Funny to many in the 80s, this comic cop routine is boring.

Avitha N (es) wrote: Despite it's lack of DIsney's signature songs, Atlantis offers interesting characters, an intriguing story, beautiful animation and a very enjoyable film that was even worthy enough to spawn a sequel. By being one of Disney's lesser known films, this film offers it's own flare and Disney Magic.

Linda B (br) wrote: Very disappointed with this film, was under the impression that this was a comedy. There were comedic episodes but, they were few and far between. The whole film had a very dark feel, that was totally unexpected. Has more in common with the Woody Allen movie, "Blue Jasmine" than "Notting Hill"

Damon B (ca) wrote: A true masterpiece. I've watched this film numerous times and it just keeps getting better with each subsequent viewing. Concise direction from Val Guest, a gripping story and excellent performances from Edward Judd, Leo McKern and Janet Munro. Highest recommendation.

(es) wrote: Short of perfection, no director can pull it off with 3 hour long film and expect the enraptured attention of the audience. Yet again, Kubrick astounds us with this breathtakingly beautiful classic period film set in Ireland, Germany and France in the 1700s. Elegant colourful costumes, Versailles like landscape and buildings and appropriate music score gave the audience unforgettable images. The story was simple to follow. The moral story was none other than reapingwhat one sows. Few punishment can be more severe than the death of ones first born. Tough for King David and so it was tough for Barry.
