Ada D (kr) wrote: The Deep Blue Sea is a film from Terence Davies based on a stage play with the same name. Starring a great cast Rachel Weisz, Tom Hiddleston and Simon Russell. It's a dramatic dark romance about love and lust after World War II. An award winning pilot starts an affair with a emotionally troubled woman who is married to a boring older gentleman. She is longing for love and excitement. The film has a great story, a great cast but beware it is a very slow film that may put you to sleep.
Garret I (ru) wrote: I got so confused by the end that I rewatched it and still didn't comprehend this. Still confused to this day.
Gimly M (ru) wrote: A severely underrated work loosely based on Chuck Palahniuk's novel of the same name. Bizarre but charming to the right sort of audience.
Noam T (br) wrote: Fun and inventive, geard towards kids with a couple thrown in jokes for adults.
Jahan S (au) wrote: I loved this the first time round on the plane but after seeing it on DVD it was hard to get pass the cheesiness of the acting, but that comes as part of all Bollywood films. With six little love stories it compounded into six crappy couples, overacting, overcomplicating a 'Love Actually' clone....

Anti R (kr) wrote: racist movie: there are two bad guys and as if by chance, they are both black ... No surprise comming from the racist "republican" Clint Eastwood

Steve M (ag) wrote: Very funny film with Richard E. Grant at his best. The film is of the pure insanity variety where you feel like Bruce Robinson was on something while writing the screenplay. It grows a little stale towards the end despite a great ending, or I could just be saying this because most of the movie is of the batshit insanity comedy variety but the last part of the film is actually pretty serious and different than the rest of the film. If you enjoyed Grant as Withnail then this is worth watching.
Emma K (ag) wrote: Typical 80's kitch though the puppet monster butler is well done. It's predictable and a little dodgy in places, but fabulously cult
Ryan W (kr) wrote: Police Academy might be incredibly stupid and goofy but it is very entertaining and the film works by being that right from the beginning to the very end

Joshua S (fr) wrote: I was absolutely blown away by this picture. Filmed in 1964 by two unknown filmmakers. No other film of the period, which deals with the topic of social injustice, racism, and the struggle of blacks in the US has done so as effectively as Nothing But A Man does. It's a terrible shame that it hasn't received the attention it deserves.
Dyron W (es) wrote: Stupid. Just stupid. While a then unknown Owen Wilson stood out as...well being Owen Wilson, J-Lo and the rest of the cast blew it and the premise borders on stupidity
Jeffrey C (br) wrote: I would have given this movie a 5, but the film's completely akward and unessassary ending destroys the brilliance of it.
MF J (es) wrote: Great documentary that brings a new and fresh light on the iconic Janis Joplin, the little woman with a great vibe and a voice so unique, she has managed to create a legacy that lived twice as long as she ever did. Thew film shows a young woman in search of her identity , gifted with a talent for live performance like few people will ever be able to get, she was ridden with doubt, lack of self insurance and fear to be alone that eventually led her to die at the premature age of 27 years old. Far from being a dramatic frenzy of sex , drug and rock N roll, this film shows a more human face of the legend and remain down to earth all along, making the short journey with Janis all the more authentic and laid back.... just as she probably would have liked it.
