(fr) wrote: More interesting than it sounds, it's an intriguing set of stories that do capture the imagination. It's all brought together in the final scenes which more than make this a worthwhile watch.
(mx) wrote: I don't think Dustin Hoffman wasn't sexy enough to attract a woman in a short time, however, it wasn't so bad because the setting has London feel to it.
(gb) wrote: Great short with no speaking. I can't wait to see the full movie.
(fr) wrote: The first 45 minutes of the movie were so boring that it was hard to keep an eye on the movie, the rest was better but as I almost had to force myself into watching it until the end it wasn't such a good movie for me.

(ca) wrote: One of my favorite movies of all time. Lets be honest it might not have any real depth but it has a great line up of characters, Leslie Nielsen as Colonel Chi and Rob as the token white guy, Tone Loc the pre Danny Glover as the worst cop ever in a comedy movie and everyone else who played their terrible role perfectly. Let's not forget..the game gear. How awesome is that!
(kr) wrote: Hilarious, this movie is a killer! Good job Richard Pryor!
(ca) wrote: For a movie by Mr. B.I.G., it's not all that bad. The actors, especially Hoyt, work very well and give life to the characters. Instead of relying on back projections for effects, much of the film features giant sets (some of the best I've seen since The Devil-Doll) The editing between shots of Mr. Franz and his "puppets" is well done and helps the illusion that they are conversing to one another. If you think complementing such a simple editing technique is faint praise, then you've never seen an AIP film. For those who have, and may be fans, this will be a treat.

(mx) wrote: The cinematography is of course as beautiful as one would expect for a desert movie. The story is well scripted making for a delight that is at times humorous. The subplots are full of intrigue giving a mystery that adds flavor to the depth of the film. Acting is of fine worth making this film entertaining. Sets even though tents are well crafted making for a superb image. Nibbles: Dates, apples, grapes and cheese.
