S W (fr) wrote: This movie is not funny or even entertaining. Only stupid people would laugh at his pathetic jokes. If your jokes only discriminate and run down members of our society well then you are a terrible comedian. He attacks disabled people and women mostly. What a vile and nasty piece of work.

Rabih H (br) wrote: OK, in all honesty, I did not truely "watch" this film. It was being watched next door to me on a long flight from Australia, so I had a visuals-only experience, but I think I have summized enough of the plot to draw a conclusion. The film's story is so sparse and weak, that 90% of the film is hard hot body's moving in slow motion through what might be 5-10 long montages that make up the film. While we are on the topic of make-up, really? His hair and her eye makeup flawless after days? Clean clothes, and not a scratch...really?More of a music video than a film.

Lindsy W (de) wrote: It's like the "Wrong Turn" movies with some atmosphere and sentimentality. I was able to watch it all the way through so i guess it wasn't terrible. Almost turned it off the first time she called the kid "Baby Bear". Atrocious to at best mediocre acting and choppy dialogue. .

Leena L (kr) wrote: This film sounded interesting. I already thought about watching this couple of years ago, just never got around to it. Emily Watson and social scandal. Should be interesting. And it was. It was a fascinating piece of history that I had no idea about. I did know about sending criminals to Australia. I also knew about sad history of aboriginal children being sent to camps/homes to be "civilized" and saved from their pagan ways. But I did not know that over 100.000 children were deported from England throughout the years to be cheap and even slave labour mistreated in the hands of well-doers (charities, monks etc). The were taken away from their misfortunate and "bad" families (single mothers or poor families) who were told they had been adopted. Heart breaking and utterly interesting. Official apology took place in 2010. Some people still lived in the institutions etc in the 90s! Real life is better than fiction. Always.

John S (fr) wrote: fascinating. the documentarian doesn't explicitly state who he thinks created the work. interestingly, when he films marla painting, she continuously asks her father to finish it... did she create all her own work, or did she have help? its really hard to say... one question, did she title her own works? i mean how can a 4-year old come up with the title "tribute to pollock."

Anders A (jp) wrote: Solid based on a true story drama flick by Scott. Two strong characters doing somewhat subtle appearance, thus with tremendous effect. Denzel is shining as a controlled and reflected drug dealer on a sofisticated level. Russel Crowe playing the anti-corrupt hardworking cop, slashing through the filth and corruption in the NYPD.

sierra b (jp) wrote: i love this movie with a passion and it would be good even if the actors sucked (which they don't) just because of the story line. very sad toward the end when sam's tape is playing :(

Shinyhair X (de) wrote: Really funny, clever and entertaining, not as weird as French movies usually are. It's also romantic and sweet, but not too much. A romcom worth watching.

Shawn W (es) wrote: More of a field goal than a touchdown. Early roles for Harrelson and Snipes. More Jan Hooks needed.

Shawn W (mx) wrote: There isn't a ton of blood spilled in Blood City although this Sci-fi - Western cross has some interesting parts. A team of scientists place subjects (in their mind) into an old West town as slaves to test them for possible military use. Never quite hits the mark but not bad. Modern traffic jam scenes didn't quite make sense to me.

James R (it) wrote: This film seems to be an accurate depection of the attack on Pearl Harbor.Wonderful battle scenes can be seen in this film!

Loren T (es) wrote: I found this film to be great fun and VERY beutifully shot,, especially for a comedy film.

Jessica H (it) wrote: The historical content is laughable in a sarcastic smile while there are funny scenes if you don't take this film serious.
