Opening philosophical discussions on the perception of courtroom justice and the role of lawyers, the film is a recommended watch for all individuals interested in pursuing the field of law.

Tim M (de) wrote: "A remake of [the classic] 1996 Danish thriller, it's a pulsating, propulsive and nerve-racking film that breathes new life into a genre whose tropes wore out long ago." Much better than the original, and Milo is back! Hopefully Pusher 2 will come before 2020.
Tim L (kr) wrote: A completely pointless remake that severely lacks any intensity of the original. Any sense of urgency or remorse you may have felt toward Frank is completely gone in this version. Also, the character of Tonny in this version is an annoying and worthless idiot. Mads Mikkelsen gave the character some punch in the original and knowing the trajectory of the character in the sequels just makes the character in this version even more sad. Adding even more pointlessness to this version is the fact that Zlatko Buric reprise his role as Milo for the remake. While his performance is by far the best in the film, it is not enough to save it.
Simon P (fr) wrote: Brit reworking of Nicolas Winding Refn's Danish original. Zlatko Buric is back as Milo and in the absence of Mads Mikkelson is easily the best thing about this version.
Richard S (gb) wrote: The original Danish film had the feel of a gritty, tense British gangster film but the British remake feels like an overlong pop music video. I'm not sure what went wrong, but they should not have bothered. The film is a scene by scene remake, nothing new has been added with the exception of perhaps a little British swagger. One nice touch was having the actor who played Milo in the original reprise his role but other than that, stick with the original, it's far superior.
Phil T (us) wrote: As usual it's nothing remake and when compared to the original it feels far too inferior. However, on its own merits its a tense, edgy thriller with a solid central performance by Richard Coyle.
Petros K (es) wrote: Just stick to the original14 3 2013
Paul P (ca) wrote: An average London gangster tale with a cast of good and questionable talent. Coyle is fine up front, the rest are not so good...
Paul D (ru) wrote: An English language remake almost the same as the Danish version, so in that respect it's not a bad film. Decent if you've not seen the Danish original, a lesser film if you have.
Omar E (gb) wrote: Love the cast, very modern, fast & fresh, amazing acting ,especially Richard Coyle, for myself it's even better than the original! "Great soundtrack" hats off to Luis Prieto the directer!
