Hunter D (mx) wrote: While it's not structured too well as a documentary, DREAMS WITH SHARP TEETH is enormously entertaining mostly due to the personality of it's interesting subject, which is writer Harlan Ellison. The author of classic short stories like "REPENT, HARLEQUIN!" SAID THE TICKTOCKMAN, and I HAVE NO MOUTH & I MUST SCREAM, Ellison is one of my favorite authors, and his suffer-no-fools attitude makes him endlessly watchable. The doc features friends of his like Robin Williams, Neil Gaiman, and Dan Simmons offering anecdotes and insights alongside Ellison's own musings. Some great bits include a rant on how studios expect writers to work for little-to-no money ("Cross my palms with silver!"), TV being dope for the masses, and his rabble-rousing childhood. People who are familiar with Ellison won't find a lot of new things here, but seeing him talk is always a plus, but people who are unfamiliar with him will no doubt find him interesting and hopefully seek out his work. I can confirm, though, that he is someone I do not wish to meet.

Jason A (jp) wrote: CLASSIC and B-Movie GOLD! Roger Corman is amazing production and directing his produced classic Monsters is one of my favs by him. It probley has the only story for a film about Fish how Mate (or rape) girls on the beach and other locations. Lol is the only word. Good enough acting and effects at least to say.
Rafy I (ag) wrote: the only reason i saw this film was because wanted to see the performance that beat out pacino , nicholson , and hoffman for the godfather partt 2 , chinatown , and lenny ! it's actually not bad at all , it is debatable if carney was better than these men , but he was ofcourse very good !
