The movie is fast-paced presents a thrilling ride through the consciousness of leading thinkers of our time, intercut to form a 'conversation' about the central topics. It exemplifies Marshal McLuhan's idea that "the medium is the message" as the movie will transform your consciousness as you watch it with its powerful memes and psycho-active CGI effects. In this it sets out to create the kind of meta-language which Terrence McKenna spoke of experiencing in his DMT trips. The movie stands at the cutting edge of communications, ellucidating the profound ideas which it addresses with insights from some of the great minds of our times with CGI imagery and humour. A must-see for all who like to live at the cutting edge of existence.

And the amputee with the gas mask and the katana legs was one of the most b/a characters ever made.Probably grindhouse at it's best.

Leena L (nl) wrote: A lot of promise. Great scenery. So many opportunities and changes but they had to but John Cusack in the lead....... I drifted, but did watch it all the way. There are so many more interesting films set in Shanghai, like Painted Vail, White Countess, Lust, Caution etc. And none of the have J.C. In them!

Andy N (de) wrote: This could have been a horrible sequel, but it's not actually half bad. It's a low budget horror/action film that went direct to dvd that doesn't have terrible special effects. Veerhovens humor remains intact, but it gets lost in the story as soon as people start getting infected.

Young, Laura Dern, Taylor Nichols, Mark Harelik, Julio Oscar Mechoso, and Sarah Danielle MadisonDirected By: Joe JohnstonReviewThis time, it's not just a walk in the park! You know a lot of Jurassic Park fans hate this entire in the series for many reasons and most I do understand but heres the thing, the second film is much worse and I actually like this one.In need of funds for research, Dr. Alan Grant accepts a large sum of money to accompany Paul and Amanda Kirby on an aerial tour of the infamous Isla Sorna. It isn't long before all hell breaks loose and the stranded wayfarers must fight for survival as a host of new -- and even more deadly -- dinosaurs try to make snacks of them. The movie was trying to be a serviceable fun sequel that was more traditional the book titled The Lost World unlike the last film. It had the raptors being able to communicate with each other, the parachute scene so as to why people say this worst then the second is very insulting. The story is not Oscar worth, its not complex one either it's just a fun rescue mission. That's good it's plain and simple and makes for a fun film. The performances now, that's the bad part I mean most of the cast do fine I just didn't like the guy who played Billy( the guy in the parachute in the end I think that's what his name was) and the mother, she was really annoying. Joe Johnston has actually given me four movies I fairly enjoy and one that I love(Captain America: The First Avenger) the other films Honey I shrunk The Kids, Jumanji, and I do really like The Wolfman remake with Anthony Hopkins I think it's a very good and fun remake. He does a good job here as well.Considering how much people hate this film I guess I'll say I hate myself for liking this movie and so I'm giving Jurassic Park III a three out of five.

Shawna D (fr) wrote: wow. man, what a piece of crap! i can't believe this is from the same people who did JCSS. I love that, but this is like a bad kids play that you see in VBS. ugh. thankfully the dvd was faulty and i didn't actually have to sit through the entire thing! i got through most of it, though, and i'll never get that hour back.

Ben C (ru) wrote: Yes, it has a ridiculous plot and the gags can be a little juvenile, but this superhero spoof features a talented ensemble cast that can deliver comedy at a satisfactory level.

Jessica S (nl) wrote: Problem Child is a really funny movie. I really enjoyed this show.

Robert H (br) wrote: A landmark film that opened up the future of Anime to a wider audience outside of Japan like never before. Mesmerizing visuals, political messages, auditory musical bliss, and a story the likes of which blended multiple genres into one fantastical journey into a future not yet realised, makes Akira one of the classic quintessential animes of all time.

Peter P (ca) wrote: Very cheesy sword and sorcery movie that has lame fights and the worst performance I have ever seen from Jack Palance and then you have the dumbest nun ever in movie history to top it all off.

Bradford G (nl) wrote: Amiable if inconsequential comedy worth watching mostly for the leads. More of a wry humour than anything to make you laugh out loud.

Deni H (fr) wrote: I liked this movie. Some moments were intended to be funny but were not funny at all. In general this is a good comedy with dignity involved. I liked it, it was touching to see Tramp's love. I would recommend this movie.
