She played Columbine High School massacre victim Rachel Joy Scott really fantastic! Her performance was natural, funny, faithful and adorable. Ben Davies played homeless guy Nate and he was great too. Director was smart, first movie was like teen romantic drama, then it turned out very shocking horror... and he explained how Rachel was cute, fun, brave and unbelievably religious. Climax was really shocking and really sad... and yes, her hand touched my heart... Rachel was not ashamed to be Christian. and I'm not ashamed too. She was getting close to God and she lost her friends little by little... She was sad and I know that feeling... She's gone now and she changed the world... Thank you... If you really love God, see it! You will love it!

Theo W (de) wrote: Oslo, August 31st is an astute portrait of life, growing older, the passing of time. The film centers on Anders, a former drug addict struggling to integrate back into the life he left behind, and the friends he encounters. Though it may seem that Anders has the most to wrestle with, each encounter leaves the viewer recognizing that life isn't as simple as it once felt in childhood. Anders believes he missed out on what his friends have achieved - careers, kids, marriage - but is shown that there is no formula for happiness and these social goals carry a burden to bear. Like Anders feelings of depression and hope the scenes of Oslo, August 31st comes in waves alternating between beautiful glimpses of life in progress and stark moments of reality. The scenes of Oslo are wonderful and the acting is brilliant. Great film from Joachim Trier.

Lucas M (us) wrote: This movie is so fucking cool. Is it cheesy, Yeah, But the films strengths lie in it's Action, interesting characters, Charisma in the cast, Quotability and it's great, strange, yet very original plot. It even has Anthony Kiedis from 'Red Hot Chili Peppers' in it, You can't get more 90's than that. Don't forget the legendary Gary Busey plays Keanu Reeves FBI partner. So Awesome. It's one of my favorite movies. THE REMAKE IS A PIECE OF SHIT

Darrin C (de) wrote: I like it mainly because I'm a big Danny DeVito fan. It appears dated a little and drags on at the beginning but the comedy between DeVito and Ann Ramsay is better than with Billy Crystal although he isn't terrible. It turns out to be a cute movie and even a bit wholesome!

Private U (au) wrote: The story was unique, and the screenplay was enjoyable. Giancarlo Giannini had performed Pasqualino's character perfectly. I had a lot of fun while watching this Italian comedy.
