(nl) wrote: Saw it in Charlotte at a screening this past week and really enjoyed it. A little slow at first but there's quite a bit to set up. A lot of depth, Renae did her research! A lot of depth, a movie that each time you watch it you will most certainly see something new that you didn't the time before. For an independent film company just starting out, really great job. The added perk was that Tyler and Renae were at the premiere with us :) Great people!

(nl) wrote: Something to Talk About is a clever film. It is made with serious intentions that comes out with both a serious and funny side to it. Julia Roberts is at her best and a natural. Dennis Quaid also gives an amazing performance. The script is well written and witty. Lasse Hallstrom did an awesome job directing this movie. I enjoyed this film because of the romance. Something to Talk About is a must see.

Ned Beatty does the sleezy bar owner perfectly while Don Michael Paul kicks some major ass to avenge the death of his mother and sisters, along with the rape of his girlfriend. Give it a watch...you might be surprised.

(mx) wrote: This is probably in my top ten worst movies ever, which is why it's so good. It only falls short on badness when compared to old Sonny Chiba movies like Sister Street Fighter.
(br) wrote: Throughout this movie it seemed like I was watching Meg Ryan not Nicole Kidman....well of course...directed by Nora Ephron...Nicole is capable of acting such circles around Meg Ryan....why????
(it) wrote: While it's bit of a messy anthology due to it being centered around the cat, none of the stories are dull and the film ends quite entertainingly. Ton of callbacks to previous King Films in the beginning. My favorite segment would have to be the last one, that's one brave kitty, and a creepy scenario. The other two segments drag a little, but they're still suspenseful. Nice casting and good acting, and some terrible sets and effects. Cat's Eye is wholesome Steven King entertainment.

(ca) wrote: Interesting storyline, fantastic acting all round especially from Gary Oldman (Joe) and Alfred Molina (Kenneth) who both absorb into the characters with incredible style. Laugh wholeheartedly at the joke in the title.
(mx) wrote: This movie had potential, unfortunately its a war movie made by people who dont seem to have a firm grasp of neither the mental nor strategical aspects of war, or continuity for that matter. TL:DW a group of children who (mostly) cannot be killed magically win an entire battle by killing full grown men with their bare hands.
