In a rural French village, an old man and his only remaining relative cast their covetous eyes on an adjoining vacant property. They need its spring water for growing their flowers, and are dismayed to hear that the man who has inherited it is moving in. They block up the spring and watch as their new neighbour tries to keep his crops watered from wells far afield through the hot summer. Though they see his desperate efforts are breaking his health and his wife and daughter's hearts, they think only of getting the water.

A greedy landowner and his backward nephew conspire to block the only water source for an adjoining property in order to bankrupt the owner and force him to sell. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Dann M (it) wrote: Full of chills, Ouija: Origin of Evil is a frightful and disturbing horror film. The story follows a single mother in the late '60s who runs a sance business with the help of her two daughters, and when she incorporates a Ouiji board into her act her youngest daughter begins communing with the spirit world. Starring Elizabeth Reaser, Lulu Wilson, Annalise Basso, and Henry Thomas the cast is a fairly good and gives strong performances; particularly Wilson, who really sells the spiritual possession. And writer/director Mike Flanagan does an excellent job at bringing intensity and suspense to the film. However, as a prequel its ending is already set and it's restricted in what it can do. Still, Ouija: Origin of Evil is a compelling supernatural thriller that's darker and scarier than the original.

JohnnyLee T (ru) wrote: Compact, enthralling piece that delves into war from political, academic, media and military (as well as personal) perspectives. A lot for 1.5 hours! Redford's best directorial effort since his Oscar-wimming Ordinary People. So many things revealed in this treatment, things often not mentioned in public. After viewing the movie, we have a better idea of why. (I wished they'd mentioned the military/industrial conglomerates that obviously profit from war.) As usual, Meryl Streep is fascinating go watch. Not so Redford's character, who comes across as too smug.

Andrew K (ru) wrote: good aussie film, quite mysterious at times, moves along very much like life.

Isadore H (jp) wrote: I honestly find this one a tad overrated, it's a very good film, don't get me wrong, and miles better than the previous Batman movie to it. I really just don't enjoy the fist half of the movie as much as some people do I guess. Some of it feels a little forced to me and some plot points a way too convenient for the movie. It's all very interesting and it does a good job building up batman, but there were some things that felt cliched in my mind. The scene were batman has to save Rachel is really the movies turning point for me, and everything is much better after that, and there really isn't many flaws after that part in the film for me, but the beginning really is kind of strange for me

Suitable for both children and adults, 101 Dalmatians secures it's place as a stunning and memorable Disney classic. Cruella De Vil is one of the most infamous and colourful villains in cinema, and her bumbling burglar sidekicks just might be the funniest Disney villain sidekicks to hit the screen. It is fully engaging and excellently executed, with an adventurous theme and a fledge of colourful characters, made possible by the small but talented voice cast provided. All these factors, plus beautiful animation, make 101 Dalmatians a solid Disney classic, a childhood favourite of many people, including myself, as well as a sophisticated and engaging film to last throughout the ages.

Michael L (it) wrote: Great acting and directing. The writing could've been more focused, but Forest Whitaker's performance and Eastwood's direction lift the film to worth-seeing heights.

Bill B (mx) wrote: One of those fun 80's movies I hadn't seen in a good long while; gave it a re-watch on cable last night. This holds up rather well, though some of the slapstick caught me by surprise, as I didn't remember the film all that well and wasn't prepared for the pratfalls and what have you. All in all, this is a funny flick that's worth another look if you're a fan of the talent involved, especially Cusack or vintage Demi Moore.Give it another look.

Brandon A (ca) wrote: Engaging, fresh--the scene transitions never feel planned, rather they're organic; camera angles and presentation, both visual and narrative, are striking--and breathtakingly honest. Great acting all around, too.

Bahareh K (de) wrote: I realize the shortcomings, but then again it can be argued that we feel that way for the very reason this story seems to suggest.

Adam R (us) wrote: A much different style and tone than all of the other Rocky movies have. Too sappy and the emotional music was kind of lame. It was OK, but I still don't understand the idea or point of this film. Who wants to watch an old Rocky fight and not even win? (First and only viewing - In my mid-twenties)

Coolest Dork E (ag) wrote: This is a funny movie. The humor can be kind of stupid sometimes, but that is how this movie works. Unless you only like complex humor, I suggest that you watch this movie.

Trina B (ru) wrote: Terrible! This would make a good one of those "Mystery Science Theater" know, the movies that are so bad that they're fun to mock them while you watch them. The acting is atrocious and the script is ridiculous with plenty of lame lines like "That can't be good!" Even the special effects are absolutely horrible and laughable.
