I loved Nirvana, even got the opportunity to see them in concert just 6 months before Kurt passed. Cobain was a mystery in both life and death, so there should have been a lot of knowledge to be gained from the film. However, this is a very a-typical documentary, and it left me somewhat disappointed. For one thing, the artist never appears on screen outside of some still photos. We're left with interesting and funny, albiet not very revealing audio interview that was recorded shortly before his suicide. He mentions suicide, but we never gain any insight into why he actually did it. Judging from his words, you wouldn't see it coming. There's also not a lot of talk about the rise of the band, or his life with his wife and daughter. They filmmakers also opted to keep the film completely free of Nirvana music, save for one sixty second sampling of "The Man Who Sold the World":. Also disappointing. The style of the film is odd that were left with shots of a school when Kurt is talking about his school life and scenes of a music store while he talks about getting into music. It takes some getting used to it, but once I did I settled into this quiet, thoughtful film that slowly won me over. Much like it's subject.

Rosie E (nl) wrote: I love this movie, I'm IN love with this movie. The connection between the two is like a romeo and juliet type story, except not AS tragic. Rupert Friend did a really good job, this whole movie just struck me and I love itttttt :)

Pete B (it) wrote: This is one of my fav modern samurai flicks. Its emotional and moving( I got real teary). The rest of the time the film unfolds with battle scenes and drama. It gets confusing in points since the story unfolds thru flashbacks but it all all comes together quite well.

Mike B (gb) wrote: Decent, very unlikely film that is still worth a watch.

Haydn E (de) wrote: I not ashamed to admit it, when I was little, I used to watch Veggie Tales ALOT! When I first I heard that there's was going to be a movie of Veggie Tales, I was feeling happy of joy. I haven't watched this in awhile. but from what I got form this, It was better then I remember it. The thing I love about this is that the fact they didn't need to use Pop cultural references or modern jokes to make it work like most kid films these days. All they need is a simple well telling of a well known Bible story, great animation, some nice songs, and good roles form characters who are well known to many who grew up with the show. If you love Veggie Tales and have little kids, then you should have no problem with this film.

Shawn W (ca) wrote: Tensions on a movie set lead to murder when the leading man takes a liking to the body double of his co-star (and girlfrend). I was surprised the young director didn't seem to know what a body double was at first. Richard Lynch adds value here.

Millo T (es) wrote: Cinematographically, it is just a typical adventure movie with Errol Flynn. Historically, it tries to glorify one of the most despicable characters in recent History, so it is not worthy.

Soheil W (us) wrote: Some cool fights but useless plot and absolute no thrilling moments.

Matthew R (br) wrote: Decent but not as good as Toby's

Alex S (ca) wrote: Crappy little action horror with Charles Bronson haunted by nightmares of a white buffalo.Good performance by Bronson, but the film itself just sucks. It tries to be like Jaws but it's too boring to be something that would interest an audience. The ending was good though.
